hi all not much to report, but what i have to report is looking really good.
here she is all flatened ready for compound and polish

sorry to jump on this one... but i keep hearing alot about that stuff to but i have looked every where over here in the uk and cant find it... could someone point me in the right direction... and does it strip off automotive paint to ????

she still needs polishing up but so far so good lol..

to be honest i dont actually know the name of the colour lol... i just took my 2 boys 3 and 5 yrs old in to a my local car spray paint place and they chose the colours for this one and my 48 SEDAN lol. sorry

hi all did a fair bit on her today and last night.. had a little problem with the top radiator hose it was to short so i made a new one..
here it is put on... and as you can see she is nearly in a rolling chassis..
i did try to do some "washing" on it not sure if it looks ok or not but i'm sure you guys will let me know lol

sounds about right... just make sure the primer, paint and clear lacqure are all the same then there will be no reaction ... and after every coat even the primer wet sand with 2500 to give you a nice flat surface for the next coat .
Not 150 or 400...... get 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 and 2500. You will need the clear coat the same as the colour to make sure there is no paint reaction...
