It looks like its a real gt car. With the high bumperless rear end, the cut out wheel arches, sitting close to the racetrack. I can almost feel the warmth of the tires. Keep it up.

She looks great in flat white by the way.

Wash the plastics. Then it's a matter of opinion. I read the instructions first, (then build without it )

That is one sexy car.

I came in looking for the Ferrari. Was not disappointed.

Great start. I love GT cars, especially the SC430.
This could be interesting.

I've read that 1:1 car painters will throw out an entire roll of masking tape if it hits the floor, because once the edge touches the ground it has dirt in it, thus ruining the edge line. As such, I never let my rolls of tape sit on the bench. I keep them on hooks hanging off the edge of the shelf over the bench. It took a lot of discipline to do that at first, now it's just second nature!
That's really smart. Great tip.
Unfortunately I can not do that at the moment as I do not have a mancave in my new home, everything has to be tucked away.
The dispenser is really an investment.

Thanks Robin. I know it's taking a long time.... I haven't even ordered the paint as I'm on the fence on the colour. Corsa Rosso or Plain Silver?
Corsa Rosso! Or maybe some blue?

I've always thought I've taken my weathering too short, not completing it. This thread made me think and reconsider. This is the last one I did. Not really much or based on something, just wanted to make it look like it's not fresh out of the factory.
I kinda suck when it comes to figuring out what to do.

The most important thing is to cut off the tacky edge of the tape. A lot of dirt gets stuck in the adhesive and will really ruin the chances of a crisp line.

Mike, the most impressive thing about this build is that I can always sense the finish line. I hope you can too.

At least you'll always have the memories, and this little one to remind you of the big one.
Really cool model, and fantastic story.

What DOT should I look for when buying brake fluid? Think I've read dot 3, but the widely available in Sweden is dot 4 and dot 5.1. Any of these work?

Headers came out good. Like the idea with the hinged glove compartment. Crazy in a good way.

Amazing build. Simply amazing.

Thanks for all the ideas.
As I said, not sure it was molded in green, I'll try digging up some parts, maybe the identification will be easier. I know I've got at least 3 of the rims and tires left.

Man, I love these cars and this build looks beautiful. Keep it up!

Great start! That door project is nice.

Wow. The 250 gto is one of my favourite cars of all time, so I haven't really grown into the Testa Rossa, but this model is sharp!
Fantastic execution!

Great shine!

Got a heap of pictures Jonathan, but thanks.

Amazing. And yes, French blue suits these bad boys perfectly.
