Sorry for late answer and for not takeing whit the hubs. But here are the dimensions i took. Front beam 1.98 in wide and 0.72 in high. The engine 1.60" long incl gearbox 0.53" high on the highest point not incl the fan cover. rear axle 1.68" wide not incl hubs. A Pic of my build: Sorry not trying to steal your tred.

Roadkill: Looking good. Thats the best looking celica ever made. Got some done on my Volvo. Made a frame or two tuber to tie together the front and the back. Guess i will made a complete new floor to the Amazon an not use the one from the Volvo. But we ll see.

Had to order a new karmann giha from Lucky model since the one i got is not near the state of rebuild nor fresh neither barely started. So i think that i can start the build in like a week or so. Depending on when i got the karmann. Made a test run whit the one Karmann bottom plate i got, and boy it will be a hudge task to get the Porsche Carrera engine to fit, but it is possible to shoehorn it in. So i only say to all ye others eat my bust when i fly past ye. The only thing you will see of me is my tail lights DISAPPEARING in to the HORIZON Nick i will send you pics when the Karmann has arrived.

Hate to say it,but those tires would not work in the kind of terrain your model is in. Since they are asphalt tires. Otherwise a nice and different build.

As i said earlier i v got the parts from the tamiya beetle, so if you need messurements of them just ask and i ll give you them.

Nice one. Got one a little bit like this that i have had in the making for couple of years now. It s in 1/24 thou and uses parts for the Tamiya Beetle since my will be in the 60 form. So i will follow this build closely.

Found the wheels and tires i m gonna use for this build. Since some one gonna ask anyway. The tires are from my part box and the wheels from Revels 1/18 Volvo PV.

Ok then i m in with the Karmann.

Hmm got a Ferrari 250 swb that i could run in this or a Karmann giha. Both should fit in the time frame. Have only one question would it be possible to put an contemporary engine in them? For the Ferrari i have planed the 612 engine and for the Karmann the Carrera gt engine. If it will be ok whit those engines to take part in the build then im in whit the Karmann.

Todays update. Had to chop away half of the Amazon bottom to get room whit the engine and transaxel. But what a heck im a finn and that means that when we have decide to do something we just go ahead and do But yeah pics The engine is in And the transaxel is in Next up is to cover up the engine and axel in other words make the new interior.

Tight o so tight. But i got it to fit inside the Amazaon. The pics I m going to go whit those tires have just to find some wheels for them. The ones i got now is to small

Have to go on building my Volvo/Audi hybrid. Gotta do a custom made frame for it thou i guess. Will be a little difficult to get the Audi DTM parts to fit in the Volvo Amazon. But have to try it first to modifie the Volvo first. Pics when i m a little longer in to the next stage of the build.
