Haubenschild

Well its almost 4:00 am PST , here are the seats , ( I will touch up the red specks and the BMF )

The engine and wheels are finished ( I still need to add a few decals to the engine )

Here is the body after another coat of paint and 2 coats of Tamiya TS-13 clear

Tamiya TS-14 black without any clear Tamiya TS-56 orange without any clear Tamiya TS-26 white with a heavy coat of Tamiya clear

This was my 2ndish car I have ever built and It is my favourite , even after the headaches it gave me

The body , hood , and firewall have been painted with 3 mist coats and 1 wet coat of Model Master Honduras maroon

I started out by painting all the semi gloss black parts on the chassis , suspension , and Interior

I got this kit yesterday. I will be building it box stock ( as usual ). The body will be painted Honduras maroon and the interior will be semi gloss black

The front suspension and wheels are on . I managed to thrash side stripe decals , I went a little overboard on the clear since the decals would not stick to the body, I might just order another decal sheet. I also managed to spill superglue on the body while I was gluing on the front suspension , luckily I rubbed it off but there is still some light fogging which is annoying

Very nice job! , I think the Judge looks the best without the spoiler

All the decals have been applied to the main body The transmission was painted with a mix of Tamiya semi gloss black and Tamiya dark grey metallic

The bottom part of the body has been painted Mockup after paint

Today I added a few more things to the engine , I will have to wait at least a week to get paint for the Headers though , which is kind of annoying

In my 8 months of building the shortest build took 4 days ( 1970 T/A ) and longest took around 3 months ( 1968 McLaren M8a )

I assembled the transmission and added decals to the engine

My last name is Haubenschild , and my avatar picture is of a drunk trailer park supervisor , who is one of my favourite TV characters

I added the decals to the top of the body ( I will be using the decals for James hunts' car ) and yes I will fix the crooked # 11 decal

Pink steelies would be neat , but that would be pink overload IMO

Nice model! , the gulf GT's are my favourite , but whats wrong with the last picture? , alot of distortion going on in the background

I am not sure what the exact colour is , but I have heard that Hiroboy makes a red that is very similar to the red on the 1:1
