  1. Definitely nice work going on here....Keep it coming!
  2. Thanks much guys!! Bart, as I stated above...Please go to my Photobucket link and go to Album 25..There is a simple "How To" there that explains the open chutes....Thanks again fellas!
  3. Thanks, the wheels are Comp Resin vintage funny car wheels. I reverse them to show the back side of the rim (flat side of the spoke) and just add a trim ring and you have a modern looking race wheel.
  4. This is a build that I did sometime ago with a resin body and a modified Revell chassis. Its done as a curbside with Krylon paints and MM clear. I used some nice wheels from the parts box and a decal sheet from Slixx. I used the Kenny Goodell graphics to come up with this "what if" car. Some of you have asked about the open chutes and how they are done.....If you will go to my Photobucket link and go to sub Album 25 there is a "How To" on the Oakley Camaro that shows how they are done. Its straight forward and simple....any questions...please ask. Thanks for looking!
  5. As mentioned above.....Great paint and pics!
  6. I'm planning on attending also. This show is too close to home to pass up.
  7. Beautiful work on the body....Hope to see more.
  8. Very creative Joe....I like your work!
  9. Another winner on the way Tyrone....Keep at it!
  10. Your patience and skill are showing here.....Looks real good!
  11. Cow?....LOL! Joe, I said I used Slixx decals but I will have to admit now that they are not all from Slixx. I had that Gotham City decal in my spare decal box and it just seemed appropriate on this body. Wayne (1320Wayne) gave it to me a couple of years ago. Maybe if he checks back in here he can chime in and let us both know about it. Thanks much guys!!
  12. I like where you're going with this....You are off to a great start and I like your color choices.
  13. Looks great....Keep at it!
  14. Looks fine to me....Keep it up!
  15. Virgil, I used a mix of Model Master lacquer to come up with the two shades of gray used for the camo spots. It is brush painted by free hand with no stencil. I used a red sable brush to apply the shading. Once it had cured for a few days I cleared it with enamel clear and polished it out. Thanks much!
  16. Thanks for looking in guys!
  17. Absolutely brilliant John.....It is a work of art!
  18. LOL....Thanks for looking in guys!
  19. That is wicked looking....Keep at it.
  20. Glad to see you back on this one Wayne....Looks good.
  21. This is a body that Wayne gave some time ago and I just decided to do it as a slammer. The camo graphics are hand painted and covered in several coats of clear. I added some nice wheels and tires from the parts box and Slixx decals.
  22. Thanks fellas! Bart what you see in the pics is a tool tray with wrenches and a shop rag flying all over the place. There is also a shop rag stuck in the blower hat. These guys were in such a hurry to make a pass they just forgot everything...LOL.
  23. This is another older build and it depicts a vintage Mustang that is torqued out to the max. It looks like he has scraped the guard rail once or twice. Thanks!
