  2. Awesome! It's wierd seeing a muscle car wagon.
  3. Sorry for the late update. I had been busy with carport purposes. But anyways, I got the engine done. I also have some bad news with my BMF. This is like building models from start. I have to learn BMF like learning how to build a model. But I don't like it but don't want to change it. I did BMF on the side chrome, and Silver paint on the window trim. Here's the body. Its not a blue color, its more like a Bullitt green. And a quick mockup. Chassis painted. Thanks guys! Any comments appreciated.
  4. I had a tragedy. I had just put a fresh coat of Bullitt green paint on the body, turning it around, I dropped it. I picked out the dirt that was in the paint (not very much) then I went and hung out with my friends. When I came back I sanded it down and put a fresh coat of paint on. I also got the engine done. So I'll update tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for sticking with me guys!
  5. Thanks guys! I hope I do the BMF right...
  6. I am using the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Coupe 2 'n' 1 from Revell. I am lowering it and adding the custom parts to it. I have got some BMF (first time) and am planning to use it for this. Here's what I got so far. Kit: California Wheels 57 Chevy Bel Air Body: Wheels: Air Cleaner: Engine (So far): Thanks for looking and all comments are appreciated. Lane
  7. I am planning on building a 57 Bel Air and kinda have an idea. I wanna see yours so I could get some ideas. And this gives everyone a chance to show and see some 57 Bel Airs! Show 'em guys!
  8. Thanks guys. MUAHAHAHAHA! I have succeded at getting back into building. I just need to order a model and its complete. I have finished the started and stopped 1950 Chevy 3100. I have finished it so I could get a new model. I was thinking about ordering the 1/25 1957 Chevy Bel Air 2 'n' 1. I have some paint for it. I want that and some BMF. I Haven't done BMF before but I want to try it. I think I have the idea for it. But I have succeded at getting back into building!
  9. Thanks guys. But I can't accept any of these kits. I am only 12 and I have strict parents. I cannot release my adress over the internet or to nobody I don't know in person. Thanks anyway guys. I really appreciate it. If I could, I would. Trust me. I have finished kits before, and I am capable of finishing a kit just not lately. I have some parts to a Saleen S281 and will add on to it and try to complete it so I can get a new kit. Thanks again guys!
  10. Yeah, but he's also listened to a conversation between me and my friends about a Stoeger coach gun.
  11. My parents don't buy from ebay. I don't know why. The nearest Hobby Lobby is 2 hours away. I would go if we had one like 5 minutes away but we don't.
  12. I haven't been building much. I have to leave for school at 7:00 AM. I have had football practice after school, so I usually get home about 6:00 to 6:30PM. Now that football season is over I want to get back into building. I want a kit that hasn't been started/modified yet, but I don't have one. I can't trade because I'm only 12 and my parents won't buy me one because they don't think I'll finish it and they don't want to waste 20 bucks. I will get home about 3:30 now and building is sounding fun again. I have been checking out the forum and have been liking the muscle car models and the old trucks. I hope I can get into the hobby again. I will hopefully get a model gong and finish it so I can get another one that I like. I really wanna get into the hobby.
  13. Down, set, HIKE! Yup, I am in football. Left-Side tackle. First game is on Sept. 6. Proud to be a Redskin.
  14. Lucky guys... 2000 and the last childhood memory was grand canyon in 2005.
  15. Revell 1950 Ford F-1. Kit could be anything exept for a car.
  16. The nearest hobby store is 2 hours away and the best hobby store near me is 5 hours away. I would go by myself but I'm 12. So I'll have to wait on going.
  17. I knew that, but some kits are still $10-$20 and some are $50-$100. I don't see why.
  18. I was looking at the main page at the 1/24 Similr Ford Focus WRC 2010 and found it on M&S hobbies and they have it for 75 bucks! It looks like a great kit but for 75 bucks I could get 3 or 4 other kits. Does anybody know why kits are so much?
  19. This always happens to me. You get a new kit, take it home, open it up, and look through the parts. You start building, and when taking a break, you decide to try to figure out how to hook up your old game station. You figure out how to, then hook it up and play. You comepletly forget about building and play that instead of building. Then you start playing your/your kids new game station and get so addicted you comepletly forget about building. You go out to the shed and see that old kit there laying around, getting dusty. You start building and block out video games. Repeat.
  20. Congratulations. I knew your building would get rewarded sometime in your life. I know you beat yourself up about it but, you do great when you build. Again, congratulations.
  21. Is ''Stock'' even part of your dictionary?
