  1. Sorry to post again, but I wanted to share this if you have not already seen it. http://home.wwdb.org/petergo/gallery/450constr.html Some good motivation for anyone building this kit.
  2. Thanks Jordan!Mine is stock.I know it's a large manual so no rush.Anything I can help you with in the future, let me know. This is just the box and cover sheet for the instructions.
  3. Looking forward to watching this as well. I have been tempted to start on mine on more than one occasion, but it came without instructions!! Due to an unfamiliarity with this car,my better sense has held off so far. So...any chance one of you guys might be able to help me out somehow with instructions??
  4. I followed the build on this.Awesome patience,creativity,engineering,execution-everything!! Well done!!
  5. I'm fairly new here so I may be off in left field(being from New England,I like to call it "Mannyland"),but it seems like there have been a lot of "Let's see your..." posts showing up in the Under Glass section lately.IMO, it's meant to be a "Trophy Case" for individuals to showcase their builds and having these posts mixed in seems to detract from their "time in the spotlight".I know I will tend to browse through them more quickly and usually end up missing some good builds when these posts are STARTED by someone that hasn't COMPLETED anything.Don't get me wrong,it's great to see different builds of the same cars in one place, but I think these posts should be for individuals, not a free for all.I know,I know,I don't have to click on those posts if I don't want to see them. I'm second guessing myself as I write this,so I know that this can be viewed a few different ways...not trying to stir up any feathers, just my two cents...anyone else see it that way? Or see it a different way for that matter?
  6. Don't mean to hijack, but here's one I did years ago that I'm getting ready to clean up.. stock and custom, even the engine is split in half. This was a LOT of fun.Great start on yours, keep it up!!
  7. This might just be a first...I've never seen another like it!!! '62 Bel Air CUSTOCK-This was built by me years ago to show the differences between stock and custom, and also, that a little detailing can add a lot of visual impact. It was done as a school project, but also displayed in a hobby shop to help attract interest in the hobby. It was a fun project and I'm thinking about doing another. The entire car was done this way..vinyl bench seats for the passenger-custom leather seats for the driver,etc.. please forgive the dust, and thanks for lookin'
  8. I'll usually keep some of the interesting shapes and bends for scratchbuilding, and also the transparent pieces(like mentioned above). Thinking about it though, this would make a great subject for a Community Build...maybe I'll build a Sprues Goose...
  9. Ooohh...I have the perfect car for that..the Revell Corvette C5R Endurance racer. Too bad it's been slightly started! Some of the roll cage and part of the engine has been painted.I'll take a pit penalty if I can join in with that...
