  1. I hated Blue Man Group. Three guys with blue faces eating cereal and banging on pipes. It's like the Three Stooges without the sophistication.
  2. It's all about where you live, how old you are, what sex you are, your driving record, whether or not you park the car in a garage or on the street, etc. The actual vehicle itself is minor... it's all of the other "extenuating circumstances" that figure into your insurance cost.
  3. Yes, but only one item. But if they are on clearance, you can buy as many clearance items as you want, no coupon needed. In fact, the 40% off coupon doesn't apply to clearance items at all.
  4. Yeah, package was delivered with nothing inside. I'll check that link again.
  5. Amen, brother. They have you coming and going.
  6. Holy krap! The detail on the Mustang's door jamb alone is contest-worthy! What a spectacular pair of Fords!
  7. No disrespect to Eric, but he didn't build that. It's standard off-the-rack forum software. All you do is plug in your forum's name.
  8. "Uninsured Motorist" coverage. Don't even get me started...
  9. Good to know that you actually got some results.
  10. Pricey for sure. Which is exactly why I'd like some firsthand info before I buy.
  11. Interesting. I never thought of that. I'd like to hear how this story ultimately played out.
  12. No link there for lost mail. I'm going to go to the PO in person tomorrow. My local PO is less than a mile away from my house.
  13. Boy, ain't that the truth! I guess we just have to write this one off as a lost cause.
  14. Does anyone here have firsthand knowledge (that is, has them!) on this conversion kit? http://www.cervinis.com/05-09mustang-cervini-tail-light-conversion-kit.html
  15. I understand that accidents happen, especially with a huge operation like the USPS. But since my friend paid them to deliver an item that they not only failed to deliver, but have also apparently lost, I don't think that a refund of the postage paid would be out of line. Or at least a credit for him at the PO for the amount he spent to mail the book.
  16. Have you tried working with a magnifying visor? Maybe that would help?
  17. Here's the cherry on top... it was mailed June 15. I received the empty package on June 25. Ten days. Wasn't the mail delivered faster when it was still transported by stagecoach?
  18. How do I do that? At my local PO? Or is there a number to call or a website?
  19. I can understand the PO completely losing a package more than I can understand them actually delivering an obviously empty package. $9 postage paid on it, nothing inside, side wide open...
  20. There is a sample digital issue... for people who have never seen the magazine and might want to see an issue before they decide to subscribe: http://modelcarsmag.com/digital/168/#/0 But we don't offer the magazine in digital form at this time.
  21. Oh oh... a replacement chassis screw...
