As far as I'm concerned, the band of crooks that run Illinois already get way too much of my money.

They added it here. Everyone considers it a joke. Basically it's the "honor system." You're supposed to keep track of all your online purchases all year long and then pay Illinois the sales tax they would have gotten if those purchases had been made in Illinois stores. Just like waiters and waitresses are supposed to report their tips on their income tax form.

I'm also not a fan of the out-of-scale metalflake, but that's just a personal preference. A job well done all around, it looks great. (looks like a real one in that first photo!)... BTW... Man! That is one looooong shifter!

That makes perfect sense. But people don't behave sensibly. They're drawn to the General Lee threads not for the model, but for the "controversy" every one of those General Lee threads causes. Same reason why a car stalled on the side of the road always causes a massive traffic jam on the expressway. There's no reason to slow down and look at the car, but people just can't help themselves.

I know. That's why I added the emoticon. BTW... land speed cars have very narrow tires. Less friction = more speed. No LSR would run those humongous rollers you have in your photo. But then again, that's being logical. Never mind...

So what does a complete kit go for? Any price break if it's all bought at once? I didn't "do the math," but just looking at the prices on the packages, you are talking some SERIOUS $$$ for a full kit.

Or make new glass out of clear acetate sheet.

That is so impractical already.. I don't see how adding a rear suspension would make it any more "feasible."

I see what you did wrong. The lenses DO mount from the outside, but you had them reversed (back side was facing out!)
