  1. Hi there, Thanks for your compliments. @ Tim.Thank you a lot for the infos and pictures...Now I have to think about the type of the hood I want to build... @ Modelsbyroni. The cabguard and also my other kits and some decals are available through Sourkraut´s.He just got a lot of things from me... Please take a look at My Fotki for all parts I have actual.New things are coming next year. @ Kostas. My place in Germany is near cologne.I think it´s about 300 or more km from Wuerzburg but if you want to go that distance you´re welcome. Regards,Chris
  2. Hi there, thanks for the compliments. @Jim B, maybe I´ll offering it through Sourkraut´s as I do it with my other kits...But first I have to finish it and have to look how it will come together..maybe next year and than only for preordering...It will have a lot of parts,Styrene, wood, resin, photoetched taillight etc....I have so many other ideas....there are so many possibilities with such a machine..... @ Kurt, yes thanks all nice here in Germany,I hope things are well on your side, too.I build some AFV models the last time so I´ve read here from time to time but didn´t post....Now I make a break in the AFV things and went back to the good American iron, lol. Those trucks are my first passion and will ever be...second are the US-cars....and finally I bought two 1:1 US cars this year...I love it.....I will finish the triaxle dropframe for my 378 first and go on with this truck and trailer from time to time. The triaxle trailer maybe will be offered through Sourkraut´s next year and I also will redo my four versions of the Toolboxes for next year,a new cabguard, some other types of daycab panels for Ford,Freightliner,Westernstar and Mack....they are in the close planning status... And also I need some advice for my 357 hood.I´ve seen some heavy haul 357 hoods and they seem different to the normal hood...What are those difference´s and can someone give me some measurements of that hood?Any advice will be helpful. Thanks and kind regards, Chris
  3. Hi Ryan, nice looking plowtruck....Keep it going. You have pm... Regards,Chris
  4. Hi there, it´s been some time since my last posts but I was in military building the last few month. But finally I made some more progress on the trailer for this truck and it´s been finished by about 95%. The Trailer is a scratchbuilt 45ft dropframe trailer with tri axle setup with airspring. The parts are drawed with corledraw and than milled out with my CNC machine. The wheels and rims are aftermarket resin.I have to do the airlines, landing gear and some other small things on the suspension. On the last pictures it looks like a spread axle but I have had to mount the mid axle at that time....but it´s also a nice looking spread axle version.....lol. More pictures will follow, soon Regards,Chris
  5. Hi Kurt, as always you made a fantastic work on this rebuild...Great details and also paint.Amazing.... Regards,Chris
  6. More Traile pictures More progress on this one, soon Regards,Chris
  7. Hi there, I just started on the truck for my wip lowboy.I used an Italeri 378 on an 377 frame.Started with the conversion of the hood and made a new bumper..Don´t know if it will get dual or single headlights...The headrack is on of my latest kits. This is the trailer so far...I´ve made some blueprints on my pc and milled the parts with my CNC machine.I started this one early this year and made few things on it from time to time.Last addition where some movable deck extensions...It´s been a lot of work but it´s going on.....
  8. Hi there, I started this one some time ago but didn´t finish it.I put it back to the workbench to finally complete it. It´s based on the 69 Superbee kit from Revell.I added an Vinylroof, changed the Dash and seats and seats.I´ll change the rims, also.Painted with some automotive paint. The vinylroof was made with some evergreen strips and ethylacetat.Than painted with Revell Aquacolor semiflat black.I still have to change the grill or have to cut away the superbee emblem. Here are some first pictures More wip will follow, soon. Regards,Chris
  9. Hi there, I just started on building an AMT 67 Chevy SS427.Gold metallic with brown interior.Painted the body with some sort of automotive color from the rattlecan and added a first coat of clear.Chassis painted with Tamiya flatblack over Tamiya primer.I´ll do the interior with Vallejo modelcolor, add some photoetched parts from modelcar garage. The engine will be wired as usual. Here are some first pictures More pictures will follow soon after the interior is painted. Regards,Chris

  13. Hi there, Thanks for the compliments. Ben,when you´re on the startsite of that shop you have to klick on the words :"Muttern Stop/Hut Special and the look for item number 205-vn 16 or 205-vn 10.The first one is M1,6 Messing vernickelt (nickelplated?)Hutmutter the second one is M 1,0 Messing vernickelt Hutmutter.I tried to poast a direct link but that doesn´t work for that site. Don´t know which wide of lug nuts Uwe used for his rims but I´m sure he will tell us. Hope this helps a bit,if you have any more questions please write an email to me. Regards,Chris
  14. Hi, You´re on a good start. It´s looking nice what you have done so far. Your detailing also is fine.My actual truck will get a lot of detailing but I don´t do that with all my models...Sometimes I´ll do some more and sometimes less detailing. If there are some lines where you can look through the frame and on the engine this will be enough normally.... So keep up the good work. Regards,Chris
  15. Hi there, I made some little progress to the Pete.I didn´t like those Italeri kit stacks from so I started to make new ones from evergreen tubing and with some small parts made on my machine.I added some thine mesh to the stacks and also to the aircleaners. The engine is glued to the frame and it´s waiting for the fuellines and the airlines attached. The engine also got a very light weathering. I will do some little more weathering when I do some washing on the frame. Just painted the interior but it have to dry before I could make some pictures.. Thanks for looking, Regards,Chris
  16. Hi there, I bought these acron lug nuts on the site Uwe wrote. They are M 1,6 I think but Uwe will tell us.I ordered two types one are M 1,0 and the others are M 1,6. They are really nice and I will mount them to my truck, too. But I use those wide rims on it from the Revell Cando Wrecker with Italerie Trailer tires. Thanks for looking, Regards,Chris
  17. Hi Kurt, that´s an fantastic build.I really like what you have done to that truck.A lot of detailing.Great paint.Really amazing. Regards,Chris
  18. Hi, it´s me again.I made some progress to the Pete. The engine is finished.Pictures of the engine will foolow later.I also finished wireing the frame.Only have too add some fuel lines from the tanks to the engine.I also painted the frame in Duplicolor semigloss black and the cab, hood and rack in Tamiya camel yellow.I added the Decals to the cab and hood and now they have to dry for tomorrow.Made a short mockup how it looks now. Now I could start with the interior and all the other small parts. The tanks, grill, aircleaners etc.will be brushed with Allclad Polished Aluminium. At the end it will get an small washing and weathering...More progress will follow, soon. Thanks for looking, Regards,Chris
  19. Hi Uwe, again an outstanding build. You keep attention to all the small details...that´s truly amazing... Regards,Chris
  20. Hi Tim, You Pete is looking good so far.Nice work on the sidepanels. Looking forward to see how you´ll paint it. Regards,Chris
  21. Hi there, thanks for the compliments. I think the frame will be ready for paint this weekend as it´s the same for the cab, hood and rack.Have to print out the decals for the truck. Last year I started with the plans for an lowboy trailer and when time allowed I milled some parts for that.I searched through the net for some plans and finally found some nice drawings on the site from Rogers Trailers http://www.rogerstrailers.com/trailers.php?&sn=5.It will be a 60 ton lowboy with dolly and removable tandem axle similar to this one : http://www.rogerstrailers.com/667-005/trailer_details.php And here is what I have made on the trailer during the last months The most difficult part was the airride suspensionbut finaly I´m ready with this...still have to build three of them together and have to complete them with brakes etc.but it´s going it´s way. Next step is to draw the crossmembers of the rear part of the trailer and the taillight panel. But the Pete is going to be finished long before the trailer will be ready Thanks for looking, Cheers,Chris
  22. Hi, Thanks for the compliments. Doug, didn´t know that.I glued the oilpan on the engine as it is showed in the plan...So this will be correct for the 377 and I have to turn it riund for the next 378 I´m building...But for this one it´s now glued and painted and I don´t change it for now... Regards,Chris
  23. Hi there, Thanks for the replys. I made some progress to the Pete. I painted the engine with Tamiya medium blue.It looks like the best choice for me and with some subtile weathering it will be looking okay for me.I´ll want to add some clearcoat later and also add a few details to it. And I also started on the frame.I milled out some "fittings" and someother small parts. Here is what I´ve made so far. The cab is prepared and will be get some paint later. Also the frame will be painted when I´ve finished the wires. More progress will follow, soon. Thanks for looking, Cheers,Chris
  24. Hi there, Thanks for the kind comments. I made some little progress on the Pete.Made some wireing to the engine and made new stips for the fueltanks. The´re not finished, still some little work to do. Next step is painting the engine and then glue all the wires and parts together and also some brake, fuel and airlines for the frame... Thanks for looking, Regards,Chris
  25. Hi Ray, seems to be a good start. The shortened frame looking good on that mack as do the wheels. Made something like that to my old Mack R model which started as the junkyard kit.... My old Mack R-model Keep it going, Regards,Chris
