  1. Hi there, It´s a while since I posted here the last time. I just restarted my in progress since more than a year Ford C-600.The truck came from the old US-Mail kit.The wheels are resincast from the Revell Peterbilt Alaskan Hauler, the decals are selfmade with my Alps. I made the frontaxle steerable. The yellow is automotive paint from a rattlecan and the dark blue is mixed Tamiya paint. The frame will get some wireing and some other details. More will follow later, Regards,Chris
  2. Hi there, it´s been a long time since I´ve started the Camaro project but now it´s nearly finished.Made some work on the interior and the last parts are added to the engine and all is glued together.I still have to do some small details and rework like on the right exhaust tip,the licenseplates and some small things, but here are the last in progress pictures: Pictures of the complete car will follow soon on the Under Glas section. Thanks for looking and the nice compliments. Cheers,Chris
  3. Hi there, Uwe,the interior is looking great.I´ve seen it in person and I love the way it came out.... Today the Hubcaps from modelhaus arrived and I went downstairs to see how they will look on the painted rims....For me it works nice...Great resinmolds and very nice chrome... More progress later this week....I think it will be finished,soon..Engine and interior mostly complete except some small details...The body needs some smooth sanding and polishing...and I hope the MCG photoetched parts will arrive soon.. Cheers,Chris
  4. Hi there, Oldstyle, this one is looking great.I think we are building a nice Camaro Combo.. I made some progress on my copo. The detailing on the engine bay is mostly complete...have to mount some wires, carb and other things. The interior is mostly finished except some little more detailing.. The Grill was sanded out from the backside The exterior paint looks a bit diffenrent in the daylight I also started my second Camaro built, this time an Yenko SC. I wanted to paint it gold with some white stripes like the one on the next picture but things went wrong two times...the paint looks okay on the picture but the paint from that spraybottle racted with the Revell plastic so I have to strip down the paint two times.....maybe I´ll give it a try later.. I changed the colorchoice, took another kit out of the shelf and sanded down the trimlines on the fender, the emblems etc.Primered the body, smooth sanding and than spraying the new paint on the body. This is ym new colorchoice The model will be looking like the original except the wheels..I´ll use the ones coming along with the Revell Yenko Kit.During the problems with the gold paint I made some progress on the yenko engine,it´s mostly completed and also made some progress on the interior.Pictures will follow later..... Cheers,Chris

  6. Hi there, after Oldstyle and me had finished our last project, the two Peterbilt Cabovers we thought about a new challenge. After some brainstormiing we finally started with the ´69 Camaro from Revell. We both wanted to build the COPO Camaro.Mine will be with ZL-1 option. The ZL-1 will be hugger orange.I´m started a second one at the same time which will be an Yenko Camaro. The Yenko will be "Olympic"Gold with white Yenko decals. First I sanded off the trimlines on the fenders and also the camaro sings etc.I want to use some photoetched parts from MCG.I primered the Body and painted it with orange, the grill was painted ALlclad Aluminium. The rims are Resincast steelwheels. We´ll add some Hubcabs from Modellhaus. The engine was also painted with Allclad aluminium.I added some Headers from an 69 Corvette kit. Here are some first pictures More progress on my Camaros and Oldstyle´s will follow, soon. Cheers,Chris

  10. Hi there, I bought the US.Wrecker kit some time ago just for the Ford, lol.Does anyone need the Bro wrecker body? I built this one some years ago and I think it will look more like the expected recovery truck. I think I´ll built another wreckerbody sometime similar to this one. Cheers,Chris
  11. Hi there, That´s an cool conversion.Nice looking truck,great weathering. Cool. Cheers,Chris
  12. Hi there, I made some progress to the trailer. As Scott mentioned I added two additional beams to the underside, added some more sheet and also added and cut the wooden planks. The trailer looks also nice behind my old Mack R-Model I have to build the landing gear and then it could be wired a little bit, some more detailing and painting and weathering. Scott, that´s what I want to go for, cutting parts for more than one trailer.....maybe there are some people outside to want some of those things While we are speaking about trailers,I made those some years ago without that machine, but now I want to built them new with that thing. The lowboy will go behind my Ford Heavy Hauler.Might be looking good with an Cat dozer on it or some crane parts.....and I want to build a long version and another short one of those bottom dump trailers.....So I´ll went back to your help when I´ll start building them....You also made a nice bottom dump trailer....I want to build seomthing like that.... Thanks for looking, Cheers,Chris
  13. Hi there, okay, you might think I´m crazy with all those projects I´m working on....lol,and you´re right...I´m really crazy sometimes. But I´m on a truckbuilding run and couldn´t stop...there are four other started projects not shown here for this moment..... Okay, the model: It´s an Italeri Ford LTL 9000.The frame was shortened 3cm(1,2 inch),a liftaxle was added and I converted the rearwall from the kit into a daycabpanel casted it in resin. The same was made with the wide front rims, which were made from the Italeri trilex rims with an extra trimring added to the outside to fit the tires of the Italeri Curtainsidetrailer. The rear rims were resin, too. The rack was made from evergreen tubing and the frame extension was also made from evergreen profiles.Colors will be Black and yellow like the ones from Bragg Crane Service found on Hanks site...I´ll add some more detailing during the build... More progress will follow, soon. Thanks for looking, Cheers,Chris
  14. Hi there, during the last touches on my Pete I started this one.I used the Ertl K-100 Aerodyne and an STS resin flat K-100 roof for it.Cut the aerodyne roof off of the cab and glued the resinpart onto it.Than shortened the cab.I have to fill some lines and other things and have to add some rivets which where sanded off.The frame and fuel tanks were shortened, too.I made some decals with coreldraw and made a testprint on normal paper.I´ll change the kit rims into two holes to fit the ertl tires.Engine will be the one from the kit.I want to add some wireing and scratchbuilding the exhaust and the air intake. Here is the picture which inspired me.It´s taken from Hank´s Truckpictures the decals were made from that picture and thats what the truck is looking so far. Thanks for looking, more progress will follow soon..... Cheers,Chris
  15. Hi Uwe, in my opinion this is one of your best looking trucks you ever built.....okay,all your builds are awesome but that is you nicest and coolest truck....I love the spare tire rack... Cheers,Chris
  16. Hi Tim, Great Build,Awesome as usual. Cheers,Chris
  17. Hi there, rottin1,okay,I flipped the pic and here is the tractor.I converted an Revell Kenworth W-900 added an T-600 AMT Sleeper and set it on an 1:24 Peterbilt frame...I changed the fronttires after I´ve taken the pictures...I have to do some new pictures of the whole rig. btw,I changed the frame of the trailer for the dual wheels....I have to look on my hd if there are any pictures of that.... Cheers,Chris
  18. Hi there, I´ve built this one some time ago.First when it was finished it had no engine in it.The engine was added this year and I made only some small wireing to it. It started as the Revell Sox And Martin GTX but was downgraded to an streetrace.Wheels and rims from the partsbox... Cheers,Chris
  19. Hi there, thanks for the compliments.Yes,with this machine it´s really interesting to do some new things. Scott, thanks for your advice.Your trailer is looking great.Do you have some drawings from it?I think I´ll add the rails to it.And I´ll change my drawing of my trailer for later use....So I´m very thankful for every tip or idea for this trailer and also other projects. Cheers,Chris
  20. Hi there, very nice looking trailer.I made a conversion of it some time ago. Here is on picture of my trailerrearend.Maybe it will elp you for yours. Keep up the good work, Cheers,Chris
  21. Hi there, I just started with the trailer for the two Peterbilt´s.I made some drawings on my computer and than milled the parts out with my milling machine. Those are the first finished parts: The axles and rims were takne from an AMT tanker trailer. After I have finished all the parts I glued them together and put the trailer behind the pete just to see how it looks. It will be painted and weathered the same like the UniLite. For the bed I´ll use some balsa. More progress will follow, soon. Cheers,Chris
  22. Hi there, after there were only some small things to do on the pete since my last W.I.P.update it´s now finished.I added the wipers, some lights, licenseplates(made new California plates) and some other small things.Because the weather here during the last days isn´t good for ouside pictures I made some on my bench. I just started a trailer for both trucks.....I´ll add some pictures when it´s finished. Thanks for looking, Cheers,Chris
  23. Hi there, those are some sweet and nice trucks.Great builds. Cheers,Chris
  24. Hi there, A big thanks for the compliments to our trucks. We both love those "oldstyle big rigs, too. We never had driven a truck but I think those pieces represents a very interesting time period in trucking...As you said today it seems to be much easier to drive a truck with all those "little" electronic helps and the other things....We don´t know how trucks will look in future but we know that we still want to build those old rigs.... We both often meet together and sitting together talking about plastik and planing new projects.Because my Pete is finished now,we just talked about a new project....again two trucks, same livery and decals, same manufacturer but every truck with it´s own style and details...I´m getting better in this Decalprinting stuff from day to day and so it make a lot more fun tosearch the net for new ideas.Mostly we spent a lot of time on hanks truckpictures....lol we both think we don´t have enough time to built all the things we´ve seen.......... So again thank you for the kind words. You all are great modelbuilders here on this board and we are very happy to share our models with you and could learn from your skills, tips and ideas. Cheers,Uwe and Chris
  25. Hi Ray, Those Rivets are really nice,I got them yesterday.....I took only one week to get them, very fast delivery.I know your Freightliner Drom, any progress on that one? It´s coming along very cool. Cheers,Chris
