  1. This is another build of my friend. He used an old Italeri MAN F8 and converted it inot an heavy hauler. He sratchbuild the rack and the frontbumper and some cab extensions and other parts. The cab sits a little bit higher on the frame as on the normal F 8 truck. The trailer was scratchbuilt by myself some years ago and it´s loaded with the Michigan L-190.The MAN is nearly finished...... An really impressive combo.... That´s a picture of the original truck You could see more pictures on his website: http://home.arcor.de/ahm/in_bau/in_bau2.htm Thanks for looking, Cheers,Chris

It´s the KFS resin kit.My friend made a loot of scratchbuilding to the L-190 because he wasn´t happy with a lot of the parts. And he anted an engine into it. More pictures on his German website: http://home.arcor.de/ahm/in_bau/in_bau1.htm Thanks for looking, Cheers,Chris

  7. Hi there, I´m new to the board but someone maybe know some of my models from other boards. First I´ll show you my latest build form 2006. I used the reisuued kit of the AMT GMC Astro. The frame and Cab were shortened.I scratchbuild the pipe, bumper and the mudflaps.Painted with automotive paint and weathered with some pastels. The decals are selfmade on my Alps printer. The trailer is still in progress and near to be finished since last year, lol. Here are some pictures: The steps were made from thin wire I put some junk to the cab thx for looking..... I have some other trucks in progress from last year but actually building a big diorama with an old gas station.....But I´m sure I´ll finish the other things this year.I´ll post them later.

  9. Hi there, Sometime ago I thought about my next Mopar project. In my mind I want to built a Car not with all the hemi engines or high performance things...A B.Body car with a smaller engine option.I found an nice picture of an original Coronet while I was surfing on the net. I use the Revell ´69 Dodge Superbee for my conversion.I want to do an 383 4bbl engine on it. So first I started to converting the hood. The opening was closed with some sheet, filled and sanded... I built the centepost of the hood from halfround evergreen profile. First mockup The lines for the vinyltop were made from thin styrene strips.I made the vinylstruckture with ethylacetat and an old dried paintbrush. I painted the bodyparts with an automotive spray. The colourtone is called Blueish Green Metallic. When the paint is dry (about 3-5 days) I´ll do some wetsanding the clearcote and maybe a second layer of clearcote.....then again wetsanding and polishing. After that I can start with the BMF. And I changed the dashboard.I took the one from an AMT ´69Plymouth GTX kit.I made some little changes to match the Dodge interior. And also I ´ll use the benchseat of an ´70 Roadrunner for the Dodge. A mockup just for the photo.I´ll change the rims on the finished model. I got the Testors turquoise and painted the engine.I added some breaklines and the fuellines. The exhausts are painted with Humbrol metalizer colour. The rearend of the exhausts is made from "Aderendhülsen"I´ll add a very light washing and will add some small details........ Tell me what you think about, please.
  10. Hi there, Let me show you one of my latest models. It´s the Revell ´06 Ford Mustang.I converted it into an roadster.Cut the roof off and chopped the frontwindowframe. The rims came fom Pegasus. The rear sets were covered with some styrene sheet, the side windows are made from thin clear sheet.Painted the car with automotive paint with my airbrush.I used some aluminium tube for the exhaust. The decals are selfmade. The suspension was lowered and the inside wheelcovers where thinned for the big rims. Thx for looking.
