  1. well guys, I am waiting on final paint to cure on my 50 ford truck wip (go check it out if you have not seen it) . I was at the hobby shop yesterday and my 57 ford came in so I picked it up. I had a vision of what this car should be for a long time so I busted it out this morning and got to work. this thing had to have stance, a cool wheel/tire combo and lots of power while maintaing the look of a slick old ford. Its going to be black for sure. for power I had a 427 cammer sitting here so I think thats what its getting OR it may get a GT500 mill. what do you guys think? It may get a tan interior or red have not decided. tell me what you guys think? I had to cut the rear wheel wells for mini tubs which meant a new rear frame section. thats all mocked up and the ride hight is set. the frame and everything is under it at this point all mocked up so no surprises later. thats how I build, assemble it all then blow it apart for paint then rebuild it all. maybe thats why I only get a few builds done a yr. enjoy
  2. Thanks. got more clear yesterday and since we are in the deep freeze here -37c windchills in the -48c range I will be inside laying it down. look for pics later today

  4. This is pure art! I was standing in my LHS yesterday looking at the brass selection thinking of this build and saying to myself "I can do that" then reality hit me. lol I left without brass.......this time! lol great work my friend.
  5. I love this! if I could suggest one thing. gotta ditch that steering wheel for something older. like a 40 ford wheel of something
  6. thanks. rims are from snap monte carlo. rears have pegasus rim extension and tires from a wagon rod. ran out of clear so more coming. fighting exhaust cause unlike the norm I never mocked it up first. I will get it.
  7. I believe they are in the cuda street machine kit with the flat hood. I had a set i used on a panther pink convertible but someone in my club gave me them.
  8. Thats what it needed. the stance is perfect now! cant wait for more
  9. I need that cab. my dad had a couple b61s
  10. On that kit to drop the front is easy. I just carefully cut the tabs off that hold the wheels and move them up the width of themselves. I drill a hole through them and insert a pin for extra insurance and glue them on. easy breezy
