  1. Again thanks very much to all!
  2. I have a few of these with a bunch of extra parts, and thought why not put my spin on a classic? The head is from a toy bin, just modified it a bit with a Dremel. The rest of the mods are Miliput by hand. Progress continues...
  3. Ive had the Visible Man and Woman kits for some time, waiting for an idea to make something unique. Yesterday I found the Visible Horse at a yard sale, and it came to me...make a Visible Centaur! It's complicated and challenging, but fun. Starting pics and reference photo:
  4. Thanks all for the kind remarks.
  5. Thanks all. It was a lot of fun.
  6. Just finished converting this to a four door, a gift for my cousin. His favorite car, and since nobody made a Sedan DeVille kit I had to convert a promo. Last photo is before. Also I just noticed I forgot to trim the back window and front emblem ha! My BMF skills aren't that great, but I'm learning still. Chris
  7. 98% complete. Put vinyl top and drivers side BMF on. Definitely not contest level, but it's a gift for my cousin and I know he'll love it.
  8. That will be cool, Ron. It's not easy to do, and in retrospect I should have used a scoring tool for the new doors. An XActo is just too fine a line. For Can-Con thanks, I know these doors are shorter of course. I just eye balled them.
  9. Thanks Curt. I'm not real happy with the new door lines, but it was the best I could do. I've seen some really fantastic four to two door conversions, but I couldn't make it flawless. Oh well...I certainly don't claim to be a pro and I learn from every mistake. And all of you guys. Thanks! Chris
  10. Stripped and re-primered. Waiting on factory paint and model "vinyl" top material.
  11. Thanks much!
  12. I praised MPC in this kit at first, and overall its still a nice vintage kit, but not without some significant flaws. The parts fit well mostly, but as another builder pointed out the pipes don't match up at all. Many more issues if anyone's interested just ask. Here it is though, best I could do with the way I shake.
  13. After two days in the bath, it still needs more stripping.
  14. Exactly. And the interior tub didn't fit all the way up, so I had to Dremel it and the frame to get it to fit. Turned out pretty nice, though. 90% done here. I ordered Guardian Blue and this is what the company sent me. Not as dark but I like it. I decided to go without the stripes.
