  1. Just realized the tach decal is upside down. Dang.
  2. Progress this morning hon the Cobra.
  3. Got it from a Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes flyer, believe it or not! One of the few things I've ever ordered from them that is useful!
  4. Is that the tube or liquid in the bottle pls?
  5. Started this old kit today. Unwrapped original plastic. Haven't done that before. This kit is VERY well made and the parts fit perfectly. Hardly any trimming needed either. Love these old kits before they all went to China.
  6. Really nice work! I am interested to know what clear glue you ended up using for the gauges on the dashboard?
  7. Amazing piece of work! I REALLY like this!
  8. Thanks David!
  9. I had an old Dodge wrecker in pieces lying around, so I threw this together this afternoon. Started out thinking it might be a Texas Chainsaw Massacre tribute piece, and was going to make a clay Leatherface figure driving. Couldn't find the 1/25 scale Chainsaw I have somewhere, so I just left it as is.
  10. Thanks all, and yes MrO, you are absolutely right! I did not pay enough attention to that detail. My first Conversion to four door, so I've definitely learned from this one. Luckily it's not a contest build, so my cousin won't mind ha! I really appreciate all the comments, tips and advice from all of you! Unfortunately I had to dump the whole thing in the strip bath (looks like pee but it's Totally Awesome Cleaner from the dollar store). I chose the wrong paint and have since ordered the correct factory paint. More to come.
  11. Thanks very much all! Revell did re-pop it as the "Eagle Trike" a few decades later, but the original is much cooler and heavier too. NOT made in China Junk! Hehehe
  12. Just finished making new door handles and window trim from old tie rods. Primer is on.
  13. Perfect! Looks great! I did wonder if that would work. How did you make your seams?
  14. Thanks! Will be light green with black vinyl top. Anybody have any suggestions on a simulated vinyl top instead of just painting?
  15. Found this rare kit in shambles, including the box. Stripped, rebuilt and repainted. Took the box apart and ironed flat and reassembled.
  16. Doing this for my cousin, his first and favorite car. Not one company made a Sedan DeVille kit, so I had to take this promo car and modify it. Initial cuts and sanding pics here.
  17. great thanks!
  18. Took the repop of the 1959 Lincoln Futura and used clay to make the figures into the Coneheads of 1970s Saturday Night Live skits. Heavily modified with putty, spare parts, old toy parts and stock styrene to make the diorama. Blue LEDs complete the "take off" from their curbside power station cleverly disguised as a common utility box. Having a hard time uploading more photos. I usually take pics with my iPhone but lately one pic is more than the 3.5? MB allowed. Tried pasting a link from Photobucket but that won't work either! Chris
  19. Made from a vintage Gemini Space Capsule kit and various parts. Meant to be used with my other creation Nikita Kruize Chief's Hammerin' Cykkle. http://
  20. I made this from a vintage Revell kit, the Soviets' first spacecraft Vostok, and the Shaker Trike kit. I like to mix scales. Meant to be used in a diorama with my other creation GemiNitro Space Buggy called "East Vs West: Drag Race In Space"http://
  21. http://http://This one i used the body from the Ghostbusters kit and and old halftrack off an Elefant tank, along with some wrestling action figure heads that I modified with a Dremel tool and paint. Their bodies are made with clay. I had to upload from Photobucket. Pain in the arse. Forum says my photos (taken by iPhone) are too big?
  22. Thank you for the great tip!
