  12. well heres the pics i promiced 3 days ago. my first attemt at moving the front spindels was a bust, they were uneven and twisted so i broke them off and made new ones and made sure they were straight. its my first time trying this and the might be a litte off but i can fix it when i glue it down tons of test fitting went into this lol. i got the springs from a pen and thatll provide the space for the wheels. im still trying to figure out how to make a crossmember for the front also. to give it more suport and raise the body and frame off the front end about half a mm for clearance last night i cut the wheel wells out to fit the tires in the back. trying to find a twelve bolt or a nine inch and to a control arm set up instead of leafs in the back for somthing more modern or even a four link if i find one. and today i cut out the fuel tank to fit in a fuel cell. i might open teh trunk. im not sure yet kind of makes me nervous but i have a spare car on the shelf i could tear apart if worse comes to worse. if i do open the trunk i have some cool ideas. thats all for tonight. still have alot of work to do

  17. well i got a bit done lastnight ill have pics up tomarow i got the front end halfway fitted up to the stance i want i have to go buy a pack of pens to make the springs yet and figure out a front crossmember to but so far i narrowed the stock front end and made raised spindels from styrene and ground the back of the wheels in as far as i could to make them tuck in as far as i could. i also got my detail master disc breaks glued together but they seem to small for the front i found some corvette rotors in my parts box i may use for the front end. i have never done this before so i have to take my time ill be sure to update as much as possible i cant take many pics at night because my lighting is horrible in my house for my cell. thanks guys pics tomarow for ya
  18. Ive learned so much this year that ive been on the forum i dnt know where to start. I finaly staryed weathering with rustall and im working on the sugaring technique. i fialy tried rusting the body with my dremel and rusting and weathering bumpers. I figured out blackwashing and is one of my favorite things to do now. I done quite a bit of wiring with plugs and switch pannels in my derby cars. I also statred scratch building parts for some builds and am getting better. Ive bought many tools to help me out and met many people. One of my biggest things ive learned is being patiant and letting things fully dry for a whyle before hurrying thru a build. My builds have gteatly improved in the last year thanks to the great people on the forum Ive learned so much this year that ive been on the forum i dnt know where to start.
