I started modeling about when I was 10 or so ,dad helped me with my first one,,,continued  on with all the AMT kits in the 60s,,,stopped when I went into the service ,Navy,,,got out 4 yrs later,,then was married and life got in the way,,,family,home,work,other hobbies,came along,,but always wanted to get back to cars,hot rods,street rods,,,,,,finally met up with some modelers in the area and went to there meetings to kind of learn and just sit in,,,that got me started again,,,had to put up some lights in my room and make it better for seeing what Im doing,,,,,,,,,,,now I cant get enough ,,and am better organized,,,,,BUT,Im not good with computers,,,don't have a smart phone,period,,,,I work on a PC in my living room,,,,,it makes me crazy when things don't work like I think they should,,my problem,,,,,, I build for myself,,have had some luck at the Syracuse Mini Nationals,with some cars,,,,but usually just enjoy the process and build experience with each project,,,,,,,I do learn a lot from the forum,,,helps to answer some questions,,but also raises others,,,,,thanks.
