  1. As it turns out one of the 2 arrested did have a previous conviction(s), I want to believe that the fact that 3 children were killed, and their mom critically injured was the motivation. And not the $100,000 plus reward. In any case great to see people doing the right thing.
  2. On the way to the Jewel (Albertson's) '40 Ford Tudor street rod. In a beautiful black!!
  3. No AMCs were present, Glen. The show was in Berwyn, Joe...at Piasan's Pizza, to benefit the Wounded Warriors. Here's a couple more
  4. Great workmanship, I'd have to agree with the above comment, that they look more like diecast than plastic models.
  5. One of my favorite albums of all time was "Live: Johnny Winter And". I think I've owned it in almost every form from vinyl to cassette, CD then down loaded from ITunes!! A great version and some awsum slide Guitar work!!!
  6. I just heard Blues legend Johnny Winter died in Switzerland today. Sad to hear, one of the greats is gone,
  7. Yes, he died in 2012.
  8. HaHa, I think he's always with two of his "Harem" at either side to hold his old _ _ _ up!! Highway Star was always one of my favs, not to mention "Child in Time", Ian Gillan had a great vocal range!!
  9. Great Work!! I love that sublime color too!!
  10. That's always been my philosophy, too!! I work outside for the most part. Now that I'm getting older I'm finding I don't do as well in the heat and humidity.
  11. Ha Ha Ha!! Yeah, it may be a different story then,Ray.... but for now I'm loving it!!!
  12. ..enjoying this cooler weather here in the midwest? Bought to us by the "Polar Vortex" once again!! We still have had some 90 degree, and humid days.
  13. Just what the Doctor ordered.....Extremely cool!!
  14. Great looking Charger. Fred! I couldn't have parted with it though.
  15. Happy 4th.of July to everyone first off. Harry, I have to agree, a billion just doesn't seem to have the same impact it once did.
  16. Great Galaxie Scott, I really like Your interior detail, very sharp!! I've got a Fred Lorenzen Galaxie in the works for a few years now...maybe it will get finished soon???
  17. My hope is they will not mess with the menu either.....and I'll be happy.
  18. It really shows in your work, how much You love Galaxies.
  19. Have you all heard this?? http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20140701/business/140709858/
  20. Thanks for all the positive comments guys. The reason I refer to it as Frankenpony is, well if you have ever seen the Revell Monroe Handler kit then you know how simplified it is. So to put it together to my liking I went outside of the kit box. the only item from the Monroe kit is the decal sheet. The body and associated parts are from the Revell California Cobra which is molded in white. The front seats, steering wheel, and front grill parking lights are from an AMT '77 Mustang kit. Engine and trans, driveshaft out of an AMT Nascar Thunderbird box. AMT '68 Shelby GT500 kit gave up the exhaust system. For the interior tub, chassis, and tail lights, I went to an MPC '77 Mustang kit. My Handler now uses wheels, and the rear shocks and mounts from the Revell '69 Shelby, the tires are American Satco's. So there you have: Frankenpony. Thanks again for taking the time to check it, and for the comments.
