Hey Ray, You've got a cool build going there. Great wheel choice! You know i didn't care for those molded in tail lights, but I was going to suggest that You use what was there as a guideline for using the AMT or MPC tail lights. I also have a question, are the outside mirrors going to be a different color? I love the color too, BTW.

I did not know the man personally, but it sad to hear of the passing of someone who has made a great contribution to the hobby. My condolences to his family.

I like the build very much, Bob Glidden was always a favorite of mine!! The way that You ground off the windshield wipers is great, Seen a few builds where they are not. Maybe it's just me but i think it looks more correct without. Cool car!!

Yeah, I played bass, and guitar in several garages bands years ago. Sold my four guitars and amps some where around the mid 90's. I bought myself an Ovation acoustic 6 string about a year ago.

I remember Halloween when my son was 4 years old, and it was rainy and windy. My wife took him out to trick or treat, and when they returned he was so upset and said: "this is the worst Halloween of my life". He's now 24, and turns out he was right!! I just found out this was the worst Halloween for weather in 20 years!!!

I also love the IIs!! I've owned a couple , and still own one now. I've watched videos on Youtube of this car, I've seen much uglier cars than this, but at least this build showcases the untapped potential of these long overlooked...and under loved Mustangs!!!

Thanks guys, I don't konw if I mentioned that I started with a Raceway Replicas diecast, that I got for a very good price off EBay. It had no box, and the contingency decals were flaking off. So I sand and repainted it in Tamiya Black Metallic. Thanks again.

A few years back I bought a few of the Action Skoal Thunderbirds off EBay; For a really good price!! Turned one into a retirement gift for a coworker, and made a 1989 Davey Allison Thunderbird out of one of the others.
