  1. It's cool whatever it is. : )
  2. It looks very nice. You did a good job with that kit.
  3. Thank you John. That is high praise coming from someone with your talent.
  4. Shanes suggestion works very well. You may want to experiment with thickness of paint and distance from your model. You can get nice results doing it this way.
  5. If the lid fits tight you could always put a handle on the side and call it a lunch box. : )
  6. Car is done. I hope I caught the flavor of the original . Anyone interested in my next porject please go to pick up and vans on the workbench and look for Phantom Van custom. Thanks for looking.
  7. Oh man ! WLS on the radio. Now that brings back some memories.
  8. You did a very nice job on this bike. I must agree on the seat however. Needs a bit of a back rest. IMO
  9. I would call that pretty cool .
  10. Thats a great start. It will be very cool.
  11. Get youself some plastic spoons and spray on them first if you have not used that paint or combo of paint. It takes just a little time and can save you a ton of aggravation.
  12. Thanks Mike. It is rather warm out here. I think I have a cool plan for this van but my problem is that I can always dream up something cool but don't have the skills to make the picture in my mind come out the same. But ya gotta keep trying right ?
  13. Oh, I have to get me some of those small saw blades. I don't believe I have seen them before. Work good ? Hold up good ?
  14. Gee, now look what happened. First someone cut the middle out of my van and now they drilled a bunch of holes in it. I would'nt be surprised if the next thing they did was to mount the flares and start slinging some putty. See ya next time. Thanks for looking .
  15. Just need to find a white gel pen today and I can finish this thing in about 15 minutes.
  16. I have used them a few times. I got them at Home Depot for about 5 bucks each as I recall. I did'nt use them on a model however. I used them to spray a paint called Duracoat. I used it on 2 of my firearms. They worked really well in my opinion. The spray pattern was pretty good and the popellant lasted quite awile. AS long as your mixture is right it will spray well. I think they could work well for doing a large piece like a body. I have a couple of these things in my garage. I may have to give them a try,
  17. Someone stole the middle of my van !! I guess I will just have to run with it. I sectioned about a scale 6" out of the middle. The rear windows will be blanked out. I cut a slice in the body for the rear roof spoiler. I have a couple other ideas but till I decide I will keep them to myself. Thanks for looking.
  18. Nice Nova Rich.
