    I once got a model that was jammed in a cereal box ! It wasn't pretty.

    Sounds like something is getting into the paint AFTER you shoot the body. Try hanging the body upside down right after you shoot it. It may help if your not doing that already. Good luck. Also if you can post a photo that may be helpful.

    That's the same top that been in almost all the different versions of that model. I have the original kit but welcome the re-release. I will get a couple for sure to add to my Cobra collection.

    I think glass is your best bet. As others have said you can have it cut to size. It won't scratch like Plexi could . If you mount an under cabinet light at the top the glass will allow the light to funnel down to other levels if shelves not too crowded. If you rule out wood and Plexi I don't think you have many choices other than the glass.

    Nice job ! I had a 67 Monza back in the day. It was a pretty good car and I was in Chicago at the time and that car was great in the snow.

    I do it both ways. ( painting stripes I mean ). Sometimes it depends on the colors. I prefer to normally shoot dark over light colors. As Bryan says the 3M blue tape will give you a nice edge but I will sometimes shoot a clear coat before the second color as it will seal the tape and stop any seepage you may have. I alway remove the tape while the last coat is still a bit tacky. No wrong way as long as it works for you. Good luck and let us see how your car turns out.
