  1. It was on the tree in the newest release in the large box with the large art rendering. If it's a grill, it's an ugly one.
  2. Got a little futher along on the Gremlin. Using pretty much parts from the box with no special detailing. I did swap the seats because the stock ones just look silly. I still need to decal the body and clear coat it and BMF the winddow trim. Just a little more assembly for the chassis. One thing I may have screwed up on is painting the body forgetting to do a final mock up. I rushed to paint it before making sure I had the right clearance to fit the slicks in without having the rear end jacked up. If it doesn't fit now I don't want to have to mess with the body since it is painted. I will just have to keep my fingers crossed I guess. Thanks for looking.
  3. This part is on the chrome tree for the re-released Gremlin kit. I am guessing it was a part needed on a version that is not included in this re-release. Is it a gas tank ? Or ?
  4. Wow ! That finished model looks great. I know there is a couple of tankers out there but now I realize they are not very close to what I would need to make something that looks right.
  5. Really nice build Bruce.
  6. Great photos. I enjoyed every one. Thanks for posting .
  7. You could, and I say could also do a little careful grinding the inside with a Dremel if you have one. It would make it more easy to do the cutting as mentioned above. I would use a sanding drum but you would have to be careful to not go through the plastic all the way.
  8. Cool !
  9. I never built one but I did hear it was a bit tricky to assemble. I am sure someone else will be along with better info.

    Very nice.
  11. I love the old "Stock Cars". I really don't care for the Nascar "Butter dish" looking cars. Just my opinion.
  12. Never been a big fan of the rusty crusty model builds but after seeing such nice work by some of the members here I am starting to rethink my position on that. I am thinking I might like to try a grungy looking model. I was thinking the truck from Duel could be fun. I believe I saw one done in one of the model books a while back. Question is.......... is there a kit of whatever tractor that was in the movie to start with or would you have to heavily modify one that may be close ?
  13. When you glue them try placing a bottle of paint on the outside of each wheel forcing them to be straight. Works for me.
  14. Un Freakin' believable !!!!! The level of detail in this car is amazing.
  15. That Merc has seen better days. Nice work.
  16. Sweet build.
  17. Thats a cool T-Bucket.
  18. Looks great ! That will be one sweet ride when you finish her up.
  19. Years ago I had my garage broken into and they stole my brand new ( 2 monyhs old ) Yamaha Tri Z 250 3 wheeler. I did manage to get it back about 8 months later when the police recovered it and it was still in very good condition with an almost brand new set of paddle tires on it. Sorry for your break in and I hope you can get your stuff back. Neighbors didn't see anything going on at your place ? Good idea to always let your neighbors know you will be away and to ask if they can keep an eye out. Couldn't hurt.
  20. That is one cool Cobra. Can't wait to see it done.
  21. Robert I honestly not know.
  22. Wow ! Lots of parts there. That ought to be a beauty when finished.
  23. You have a nice bunch of builds there.
  24. Nice ! You did a very nice job with that kit.
