It looks quite a bit better with the added putty. I love how you seem to never be satisfied until it is just right.

I had some problems with their decals too. The ones I had kind of seperated when I took them out of the water. I contacted Slixx and they sent me new ones and a bottle of liquid to coat the decals before using.

I agree with what has been said here but my gripe is exhaust pipes and some times exhaust manifolds. The solid exhaust pipes are a pretty simple fix but you notice that some builders paint the pipes silver and don't bother to even paint the ends black to at least give the impression of being hollow. That's one reason I like the Revell 49 Merc kit so much, nice metal exhaust tips.

Those are looking very good.

I always spray a coat of clear after masking before spraying a second color on a 2 tone paint job. Works good.

I had a bunch of them back in the day and while I can't remember for sure I think they were about 20 bucks. I used to get them for birthdays and Christmas.

As others have said, it will look so good when it is foiled. Also the wheels were very nice but do look better with the spokes painted. Nice work !
