This will be my next wip. Model by SMER which I had never heard of. Bought the kit off of ebay. The box art drew me in and I just had to buy it. Well... it is not the quality of kit that I had hoped for. The wire wheels are ... lets just say leave alot to be desired. I searched for a set of wires and tires that would be the right size and look better. Unfortunatly all I found were way more than I was prepared to pay for a kit of this quality. I have decided to go ahead and build it right out of the box and do the best I can. Anyone ever built one of these ? I think it's 1/24 scale. No english in the instructions just photos and no painting guide. Maybe I can find some info on line. Wish me luck. I don't think this is going to be pretty. : )

This is the first Heller kit I have ever built. It's a pretty nice kit. Had a few small problems but nothing more than you see in a lot of kits. This was built box stock with the only addition was the woodgrained decals that I bought on line. Cutting and fitting all those little pieces was a pain in the you know what. All comments are welcome. Thanks for looking.

If I remember right the decals were from "Mikes" ? I stumbled on them while doing a Google search for wood grained decals. If I can find the site again I will let you know.

Plugging along on this one. Still aways to go but getting there. Kit isn't too bad but not the easeist kit I ever built. Shooting to have it done by mid week. Thanks for looking.

Looks like a good time. I haven't embrassed the look of the new Vette yet. It may grow on me. Not saying it isn't a great car, I just don't care for the look........... yet.
