  1. Next on the bench will be this Tamiya kit. It is 1/20 scale. Nothing like I normally build but want to build something different once in a while. Kit has some beautiful tires and so far no flash and only some minor mold lines. Not much done yet. Body parts primed, wheels painted, engine painted but still needs to be detailed.
  2. Very nice work. I love that car.
  3. Looks great ! I could never crank a model so nice anywhere near that quick.
  4. Nice builds Rudy.
  5. Oh man, this is going to be so cool !
  6. Looking great !
  7. Got these off of feebay. Tamiya Honda F-1 RA272. 1/20 scale. Wanted to build something I normally don't build. And a resin Jimmy Flintstone Fiat body for a project where I will mount this on a F/C chassis.
  8. Nice to know I am not alone. : )
  9. Thats going to be wild !
  10. Wait a minute Al. You paint all coats of paint in under 3 minutes ????? Thats amazing. Most of us take days at least to do a body. You must have the color in one hand and the clear in the other one. No matter how long it takes you they always look great.
  11. I'm going to share a bone head thing on my last build and I wonder if anything like this happened to you. My last build was the Revell 32 Ford Sedan. I was building it as the fenderless version. Now mind you I am 62 and have build more models than I can remember starting at about 10. Ok, so what I normally do is prep the body and get it in primer first and then go back and start the engine, chassis ect following the instructions ( pretty much ) . I wanted to spray all the body parts as one piece so I glued on the firewall and the rear wheel wells. Got that done and went on with the build. Trouble came when I tried to install the interior. It would not fit with those parts attached to the body. You need to install the interior first. Stupid, stupid, stupid. You would think that after more than 50 years of building models I would have known better. Do you ever get ahead of yourself ????
  12. I agree. Very disapointing. Being born and raised in Chicago and Chicago area I have always been a Bears fan. I too am still always hoping all the Chicago teams do well even tho I left Illinois years ago. I lived on Long right off of 63 rd. st. right across from Midway airport.
  13. I see another Harry. Didn't have a better selection than this guy ? Sorry, no politics !! : )
