  1. I would have liked to have the T-Top version but did not know they were going to offer one. I bought the first one I saw. I was at a Ford dealer looking for a new car and saw "mine" as it was being delivered. I was making a deal as they were unloading from the truck. Although nothing really special in the area of performance I sure did like that car. Got so many compliments every time I drove it. Got rid of it when the gas in California went sky high and was tough to buy or find. I should have kept it and just got a cheap car to commute to work. Doh !!
  2. I'll be watching this build. Just got this kit last month.
  3. I always thought that was a cool car. Your build looks great ! Nice work.
  4. Nice build and photos.
  5. Don't spend your whole check there !!! : )
  6. I buy what I need to build whatever I have in mind to make. Sometimes new, sometimes older.

  13. Cool looking model.
  14. That's funny. I just found a brand new one my wife bought me 6 years ago because I though mine was wearing out. It still is going strong and found the new one while looking for something else.
  15. Need more photos please.
  16. What they said !
  17. I really like this build.
  18. I am also one of those who are not partial to that style of build but....... I do like a well build model no matter what the subject matter is. This is one sharp build, I like it !
  19. For me it was my dad who got me started. That was many , many years ago. It was either the late 50's or early 60's. The first 2 kits I remember ( not sure if they were the first ) was a 59 Ford wagon and/or a submarine in which one side was removable to show the interior detail ( The George Washington ???? ). From then I built just about everything. Cars, boats, ships, planes, military stuff. Was very heavy into military dioramas for a long time and won some local contests. Must have stoped and restarted this hobby 8 to 10 times. Now I build as much as I ever did but now only cars. I am loving all the reissues of models I built years ago. Models for me are the ideal hobby. It is the one hobby I have that I can do at home. I also collect Cobra's of all types and materials but all you can do with them is look at them for the most part. I also collect and shoot firearms but I can't really do anything much with them at home. Model building is a great hobby and I will keep building till my eyesight gives out on me. Maybe just build larger models ! : )
  20. Very sharp build .
