Nice clean build. I like that there is a driver in it.
  6. Looks good. Is that a muffler that is blue and white ?
  7. You guys are too kind. Thanks !
  8. Those cars are all very cool but a bit different than what I have in mind. My body will be over a pretty much stock funny car chassis. Here we go. Too late to turn back now !
  9. Nice color. Keep her going !
  10. I see another "new" Harry !!!! Also, you sir are a ball buster !!! : )
  11. Don't see a Vette. But it is a beautiful 57 Chevy. If only I had the talent to build something that nice. I would love to see our buddy John tackle something like this.
  12. There is some nice work going on around here.
  13. When I was a wee tike my dad bought my models in a hardware store. That was back in Chicago in the late 50's early 60's.
  14. Thanks guys. That 57 Chevy look great ! Mine will not look so good.
  15. Of couse we are interested. Sorry you have to go through such a thing. Hopefully things will go well and they can get you fixed up. Thoughts and prayers with you. Stay strong !
  16. Hey Chris ! Nice truck. Love the wheel selection and what you did in the truck bed.
  17. Looks like a clean build.
  18. Thanks Rich.
  19. Thanks Carl, we'll see if this pans out or if I just ruin 2 kits. Heck, I can always use the parts.
  20. Thanks guys. If you look at the exhaust you will see I cut off all the back section and added aluminum ends. Why ? Because stupid me got ahead of myself and installed the rear end. No way to get the full exhaust in. What to do ? Cut it off. Also I notice that I forgot to lengthen the drive shaft as it was too short. You can see it doesn't quite make it to the differential. : ( Not my best work.
  21. Just completed a trade with Marty ( Partsmarty ). Went very smooth. He's a good guy to deal with.
  22. Sorry if this has been asked and answered before. I need to smooth out door seams and truck ones ect. I am not sure putty is the best or only way to go. Any suggestions ? Trying to make a stock body to look more like a fiberglass unit. Thanks
  23. I messed up. Could someone please move this to the "Drag" section or tell me how to. Thanks
  24. Forgot this photo.
  25. OK guys. Here's another of my stupid ideas for a build. I am going to use these 2 kits to create one. I'm planning on cutting of the entire roof of the Ford body. I will then use sheet plastic and putty and create the flat top. I will open holes for the rollbar and of coarse the engine. I will have to shorten up the funny car chassis about a half inch or so or at least alter the wheel base. I'm sure some other modifications will be required. Aren't they always ? Wish me luck. This is going to be fun !
