  2. hello everyone, i have managed to get one built for 2015. It is AMT's 67 impala, it was a fun quick build with minimal issues as i have alot of half finished custom builds going. i lowered it slightly and added pegasus soverign wheels and white wall tires i also added a parts by parks black distributor and wires. i still have to make a coil and mount it. not sure the name of the paint but it is a testors color light blue. any questions or comments dont hessitate to post.
  3. beautiful work. i like the paint. i am curently working on a 69 zl-1 with model master phototech motor parts. will get a thread up soon.
  4. nice job on the paint. i have a couple in the stash that i want to get built in 2016.
  5. defiantly i am going to get a few more built and hit up the show. sounds like a good time to take a vacation and have some fun.
  6. nice builds good work, i really like the black full fender duece. i have a friend that just moved there and i was thinking of going for a visit and bringing a few builds and hitting up the show.
  7. Does anyone know were i can find a set of big block headers and intakes
  8. Starting a new project a 70 1/2 baldwin motion camaro. Plan is to make it a street/drag car. Going to Change out the rims and tire and dress up engine and interior drag style with cage and gauges. Might go turbo or supercharger but something under hood line to keep original hood. Problem is i searched for stuff to build the way i want but no luck finding anything.
  9. That is a nice truck custom mike. I like the finish in the bed and addition of tailgate chains. Looks good.
  10. If anyone has any ideas on how to finish this one off post some pics up. Trying to get my creativity back.
  11. Well its been a few years since i touched a model. Moved and work has been really busy but i am finally getting a bench setup so i can build again as work slowed down this winter. Looking at this post made me want to get this truck and my airbagged 60 ford strainer finished. Progress of the two in the coming weeks.
  12. no pics yet but had better luck with the paint on the second go. it is just in base rite now waiting for the whit to go on the roof then itis time to clear. Should i do the silver trim before or after the clear?
  13. had some issues with diferent brand primer and paint so it is getting striped and repainted, pics in the next day or 2
  14. well the last few months have been hecktick, cant wait to get back onto this build and finish it.
  15. Thanks i will do that, ride looks sick, keep up the good work.
  16. Lesson learned, destroyed a nice set of tires in the process but that is not stopping me, going to buy another kit and build it stock and rob the new tires from it as it has 2 sets skinny whites and wide tires. I need to get to the LHS and buy some plug wires and misc details to help finish this one.
  17. Now that the snow is gone and the weather is nice i can finally get out and lay some primer down on the body and interior and get that done.
  18. progress has slowed the last lil while due to family in the hospital.I have painted whitewalls on my tires with testors flat white enamel and it is taking forever to dry, what is going on?
  19. like the way this is coming out so far, I am also from Alberta, Edmonton to be exact. Do you pay attention to clubs or shows around here? i cant find no info.
  20. Cool lil car, Im a big fan of Ed Roth's builds.
  21. I like this, Kinda close to my 1950 chevy air bagged custom, i think they are the same rims too. I would do air ride and leave the body mostly stock, no trim or badges but nice clean bumpers. I would even put a filler panel or what ever they are called half way down in the back fender opening. Going to watch this build come together.
  22. Well i made absolutely no progress on this or my 50 bagged chevy, I did manage to do some final adjustments. Just a tiny bit of bodywork i missed to do then it is paint time. I installed the lake pipes on it but im not sure if i like them or not, let me know what u think.
  23. That blue looks good, cant wait to see were you take this build, i would air bag it and throw on different wheels.
  24. Going to look killer with those rims on.
