  1. This is my work desk, it is clean here but it has known to get cluttered.
  2. This is very nice, you are doing a great job. I hope you leave the wing off the top, it just didn't look right to me. Other than that I love all the detail and the paint job.
  3. Can any one direct me to the best place to buy these wheels and tires for my drop deck I am building? ROG trailer with AMT 10.00x 20's 1/25 scale ****EDIT**** I FOUND SOME WHEELS AND TIRES SO I DON'T NEED TO BUY THEM NOW.
  4. Thanks guys. Now I need to order some tires and scratch build a trailer for it.
  5. I didn't take any pics of the engine but I can. It isn't any thing fancy, just straight out of the box and painted with the only paints I had left. Give me a couple minutes and I will get some engine pics for ya.
  6. I hate posting my builds on here because I am not the best modeler but I figured if I am going to be a member of this forum I need to particapate. This is my streached W900, fenders, tail lights and marker lights I ordered from, "Modelmakershop", all the rest of the stuff I scratch built. Texas bumper, sun visor, a/c unit, wind deflector, hood vents, side tool box and back tool box believe it or not are made of cardstock, I ran out of plastic so had to use paper. The satellite dome is made from a lid off a purfume bottle and the base and trim of it are paper. The paint is Krylon rattle can. I hate rattle cans so the paint job isn't the best. For all the chrome parts I made I used metal tape, it is the tape you use for tapeing air condition and heating ducts, not sure the proper name for it. Like I said, it isn't the best and it won't win any shows but I had fun doing it.
  7. I don't know what else to say that every body else hasn't already said. Very beautiful build, love the color and the detail.
  8. These are great, thank you for sharing them with us.
  9. Thank you Mike and yes, I learned every part of the ISS and am still learning, the designer just put out all the antennas for the ISS so now I have to put them all on. If any body wants to try there hand at building this they can find it here in 1:144 or 1:100, http://axmpaperspacescalemodels.com/ He has allot of other things on the site too, all the shuttle's, crawlers, and more.
  10. Roy, very nice build, love the flat top, you did a great job on it. By chance were did you get the drop deck??? If it is scratch built what scale tires did you use or are they the same size as the truck tires? I am working on a W900 build at the moment and really want a drop deck for it.
  11. Thanks Landon, that is what I figured you did, they look good. Bad part about my parts box is.......I don't have one. I hadn't done a plastic truck in years, to be honest, I hadn't done any thing in plastic in a long time. I guess I will get creative and widle some horns out of wood or plastic. Were there is a will there is a way.
  12. Freightshaker, very nice rig, you did a great job on the sleeper. Were did you get the train horns????? I am looking for some for my W900 build.
  13. WOW some very nice models, allot of talent in that room. Wish I was just half as good as some of those guys. Thank you for sharing that with us.
  14. This is the best price I have found. I ordered two of these w900's a couple weeks ago, 5 days they were in my mail box. http://www.activepowersports.com/revell-monogram-851507-125-kenworth-w900-rmx851507-model/
  15. Andy, You it the nail on the head there. I have been doing paper models now for about 4 years, I have a little over 300 builds under my belt. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE PLASTIC but card models is a whole new universe and I love it too. As Andy said, you have to have extreme patience. Here are a few pics of some of my builds..... This is a 1:144 International Space Station I built for a friend. I also have one in 1:100. http://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg623/inky466/Copyof1-1447-18-2011.jpg http://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg623/inky466/1-1447-18-201112.jpg ME-109 http://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg623/inky466/ME-109.jpg http://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg623/inky466/DSC_0025.jpg http://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg623/inky466/C-130gunship3.jpg http://i1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg623/inky466/DSC_0027-1.jpg
