  1. Nice work work the extra bits from revell. Ben
  2. I like the wheels. What kind of diecast is it from and what scale. Jada, newray etc? I reckon those wheels on a lonestar with custom bits on it would be awesome. Ben
  3. Spider wheel sets, tail light brackets and aluminium mud guards are what they make for 1/32 trucks. They used to do bull bar kits as well but don't anymore. Ben
  4. Yep. I've only used photo etch on truck kits before and only done simple decals as well. I've decanted the paint. Will be doing paint prep and it should be ready for paint next week. Ben
  5. Hi fellas, made a start on this. Plan to paint the rims and mirrors black, and the interior different shades of black. It's fitting together well so far. I have recently learnt how to use an airbrush so I reckon the paint work will be far better than previous models. I'm on the tail end of a 1/24 Tamiya Porsche Carrera GT and 1/32 Mack R600. As soon as they are finished I will be hooking into this. Cheers. Ben
  6. Hi fellas, on the tail end of this build. Just learnt how to use an airbrush and I has helped with this build. I've bent an exhaust up for this and am using auslowe 1/32 spiders as well. Cheers Ben
  7. Hi fellas. Started working on a 1/32 custom Mack Suoerliner tow truck. Plan to sacrifice a Jada Peterbilt for the texas bumper, aircleaners and sunvisor. Got the exhaust pipes and custom rims and tires from ebay. Ben
  8. Nice. More pics please. Ben
  9. Nice work. What's it constructed from? Ben
  10. Nice work on he paint. Ben If you have photos of the sign writing and measurements, you could maybe get auslowe in Australia to do some decals. Google auslowe and check their stuff out out. Ben
  11. That looks great. Ben
  12. I've been playing with tamiya acrylics. 2/3 paint 1/3 thinner. I've been spraying at 20 psi with a cheap single action airbrush. So far so good with flat, demi gloss and gloss paints. using tamiya acrylic thinner as well. I like the tamiya stuff so far. Will be using decanted tamiya paint as well. Trying it on Sunday. Ben
  13. Looks good so far. Ben
  14. Nice stash. One tip, learn to airbrush. Just figured it out last week. Really rewarding to see paint turn out. Ben
  15. The truck model world review noted problems with the cab mounts as well as an online review I saw. Ben
  16. The chassis looks good so far. Good luck with the cab. Ben
  17. Great work on the roof. Ben
  18. Hopefully a 918 is in progress then. The Laferrari is lonely. Ben
  19. Paint is definitely my problem. I have a tamiya gtr r35 that I stuffed the paint up on and have stripped most of it. Will need to get back into it. Currently finishing a 1/32 mack r series and tamiya Porsche carrera gt before starting a Laferrari. Also, I might have solved my paint issues as I've just figured out how to airbrush. There really is nothing like that feeling of completing a model. Ben
