  1. This might sound like blasphemy, I plan to get one to use it as a base for my Leader LF8. It's a good doner kit as the chassis is long enough, the crossmembers are similar and the the engine is right for it. Also using parts from the Chevy Titan for the project. Would like to do one out of the box though and australianise it with right hand drive dash and squat tanks. That would be cool. Ben
  2. Thanks for posting. Would like to see a door opening tutorial for these 1/16 trucks. Cheers. Ben
  3. Surely the cad plans from the factory would be the go for model companies. I thought that's what moebius used for the prostar and lonestar. Also, tamiya is about to release the laferarri at about the same time as the real one hits the road, not many of those exist and is still undergoing testing in real life so it surely would be a lot of computer trickery helping. Ben
  4. Hi. Great job on the engine. How did you hinge the doors? Cheers Ben
  5. This is cool. That engine is awesome. Ben

  8. Looking good. Can't pick a seam line. Ben
  9. That turned out great. Ben
  10. I'm in the same boat. I have so many projects on I would have to finish a few more before I could justify getting another kit. This is truly special though. Even if it sat in the cupboard for a while........ Ben
  11. Is there a need to paint any of the components? Some of those pieces look like aluminium. Ben
  12. Just got my moebius prostar from the post office. Looks to be a great kit. Ben
  13. No way I would want to be in a crash on that. Even with seat belts. Ben
  14. Lol! On a serious note, I feel we can learn a lot from the sci fi, military and aircraft modellers. They do some fairly cool paint work and scratch building. Ben
  15. Do you have an eBay shop that ships to Australia? They look great. Ben
  16. Subaru put a lot of work into the cvt so it could cope with the torque of diesels and high performance petrol powered cars. I'm a convert after driving it. Plan to test drive a subaru diesel cvt next time I'm in the city. Ben
