  1. Looks awesome Roy. Are those the wheels out of the Grand National GNX kit?
  2. That Mustang looks awesome. I cant believe Revell is really doing it. Im all over buying a few of those. Hopefully a hatchback version will come later.
  3. Its been years since I built that SVO, so I cant help with the details, but I do remember it being a nice model and pretty accurate. I do recall the original issue body being molded in red, and being tough to paint a light color. My busy Summer is almost over, I need to dust off the Fox Saleen and get back to work on it.
  4. Got the stuff you sent me Jason. Many thanks. Tail lights are really nice. Need to get my @$$ back working on the Fox Saleen.
  5. Nice job casting that stuff. Any plans to sell those? I could use the tail lights and mirrors for my Fox Saleen conversion.
  6. Thanks Jason, Need to get my thumb out of my @$$ and finish the body mods.
  7. Made some progress on the Fox Saleen. Got some tips from my Uncle, a retired Pattern Maker for GM. Work has picked up and I havent had a lot of time to work on it. Im going to make an effort to finish the body this week. Last time I posted Progress pics Feedback is always welcome.
  8. Sweet What kits did you start with and what did you change? Very Nice work.
  9. Thanks to Charlie and Neil for the info about the MassCar show. You guys did a geat job. Me and my 8 year old son Patrick had a great time. he got his first model and has been building it every day after school. Hopefully I have started him on a lifetime of enjoyment of this hobby.
  10. beautiful. Very clean build What color is that?
  11. Thanks Bill Working on a replica of my 1:1 Saleen mustang right now. That should be worth chasing.
  12. I hear you Wayne, my current clientele is bad, but nothing compares to the retches we dealt with at Transit. In fact we had wagons we used for transport that were boxes on the back of pickup chassis. The insides were so covered in the body fluids of Drunks and the "Resididentially challenged" who were our frequent fliers, I couldnt bring myself to go anywhere near them. Thanks Manny I think I know that guy.
  13. Hilarious guys. Mopery, thats a great one Wayne. How about Pandering...cause pimp'n aint easy.
  14. He was probably refering to the chapter and section for "@$$hole in the daytime" Just kidding Neil. Thats not a Braintree cruiser, Its Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Police. Sorry the pictures arent very sharp. I beleive its still jokingly refered to as the circle T ranch. Very true Wayne One was a cruiser inspection form and the other was an activity log. Nothing beats having to justify every minute of the day.
  15. Thanks Neil Im off work that Sunday. I will see if my son wants to go.
  16. Thanks for the compliments guys. Sorry the pics and background suck. Once upon a time, Irish Moms sure liked naming there sons Michael, there were 3 of us named Mike Foley in my class in High school, and we werent related. And you know how many Irish cops are around. Do you have a Link Charlie? This car was MBTA Police, worked all over Metro Boston and Eastern Mass. They changed the name and paint scheme a few years after I left. They are now just called Transit Police.
  17. Did this one years ago. I always loved this paint scheme. I even photoreduced some of the forms we used on a copier machine.
  18. Thanks Roy If I wasn't trying to replicate my own car, I doubt I would put out this much effort. Made some progress, Still needs some more filling and sanding. Do the openings in the airdam look too tall? What do you guys think?
  19. You got me wondering about the exhaust Jason. It does fit in those openings. Years ago that must have been my reasoning for putting the exhaust openings there. Its a shame nobody wanted to cast that stuff. Added some body filler Needs more filling and smoothing
  20. Very cool models. End of the road is my favorite.
  21. Thanks Stephen I would love to see some pics off the progress you have made on your Saleen Bradley. I know what its like to lose interest in a project, this thing has sat in the box for years. Salen actualy converted a few 1990 7up convertables, so I know that emerald green will look nice, the tan interior will compliment the green better than the white leather IMHO. How Did you modify the vert saleen wing? is it the angle thats wrong? I know it doesnt look right, but I cant put my finger on why. Im working modifying the cobra taillights into LX ones. Its a pity someone doesnt sell them.
  22. The cobra side skirts dont flare out enough in the corners. The Saleen sideskirts really make the car look low and wide, almost like it has fender flares. I have begun to add them with styrene strip. I will fill in the pockets with body filler and smooth it out. Sorry the pics suck, I need a better background to take pics and a coat of primer on everything to make it easier to see. All I have for now, hopefully more progress soon. Any and all feedback is appreciated.
