  1. Yeh whats with the front seats in this kit lol Black always looks good, i just prefer to try differant colors sometimes. Those colors go real well lownslow, sick job on that one.
  2. That would explain allot, i might actually have preferred the badman kit just for the decals. Did some digging on this forum and found this one completed by Oldscool, really wicked. Gives me inspiration.
  3. Sick bargain
  4. Very clean and detailed nice work.
  5. Im in lol, i have never seen that kit before? Have you acquired another one yet or? Has to be rare i would assume?
  6. Bought this kit off ebay for a bargain, my expectations were higher being a Revell kit but its not bad. There aren't many pieces so i can see it being done in a short amount of time. I thought for ages what color to do it, everybody just seems to go black and i thought what else is an old school sort of typical Chev color, yellow? But then as it sat there in primer i thought why not try make it look like its ALMOST ready for color, the few test trails look good so ill see what i can come up with. I have never tried a paint job like this so bare with me lol.
  7. I wish i had the patience for this attention to detail and quality lol I like your system for painting.
  8. You are killing it dude, outstanding!
  9. Im not sure, im guessing it does but i try not to dick with it too much its not mine lol Cheers man. Seems like some of you guys spend a fair bit of time doing research on the 1:1 version of your models before you make them, im impressed.
  10. The instructions on most of these models suck, in the picture on the box the whole interior is red too. Ive always thought they were white..
  11. Cheers people, next stock car id like to do is a 70/80s Mopar so if one pops up on ebay or something ill be sure to grab it. I also bought the Revell 55 Chevy street machine kit the other day so keep an eye on the workbench section in the next few days for my new thread.
  12. Did they even have padded cages back then?
  13. there wasn't any padding to paint lol
  14. this things sick dude
  15. Pictures, half way through taking them i accidentally knocked the sidepipe off, apart from that its 100% complete. Looks sweet in these last 2.
  16. Sometimes i really believe i was born in the wrong generation, motor racing was wicked in the 60s 70s and 80s, over here and in the US. The variety of cars i think is what makes the videos so good to watch. I think i would do anything to see some of those races in person.
  17. I believe im excused, im from Australia . Dad and i have only been into the sport for maybe a decade. And having watched Marcos Ambrose dominate V8 Supercars for years then leave to start racing Nascar only made us more interested lol.
  18. Few more before i go to bed
  19. That first blue is a gorgeous color
  20. Looks sweet already
  21. Hell yeah budy! dont see too many of those utes in that model anymore. This is my daily atm, 75 VK Valiant, i also have a pos VL Commodore undergoing a motor rebuild (304)
