  1. Best way to do plug wires ive seen yet, i might finally give it a crack lol
  2. Sweet, awsome work on the weathering and detailing
  3. Dun Dun Dun, yeah, i gave this kit a go, even after a good warning. Yes it tested my patience hardcore, but apart from screwing up the windshield and the overall stance, it turned out prety sweet! Color is Tamiya light blue, the decals are from the Revell 32 ford kit, other than that its basically box stock! Let us know what you think. Cheers Dan
  4. Thanks mate, i started this thread late in the build, but all this in just under 2 days. Not bad for a rookie. Prety much 99% complete, i need to do a few touch ups here and there. Not at all happy with the stance, but everything else looks wicked More photos in the Under Glass Section.
  5. Hey bro where can i find pics of that green 5 window 8 pics from the top? Looks wicked!
  6. Haha yeh its a fantastic looking blue! Those that have tried building this model will understand the rock wall ive hit. Nothing fits together, its actually really testing my patience. If i combined this paint scheme with the Revell 32 Tudor, im 100% sure this would be my best work yet. I do have the chassis complete but having issues fitting the wheels, no photos of that atm. For the interior i painted it a lighter red to begin with, then brushed on a few coats of cherry red clear, looks very old timey, the camera doesnt do it justice. All mocked up its a very, 80s looking car imo.
  7. Cheers mate, the color is just Tamiya Light Blue, i was actually hoping it would come out a much lighter shade, but it still looks fantastic so meh lol
  8. Hey guys, just posting up my newest work. Im not really thrilled about the quality of this model, lots of parts don't fit very well and theirs plastic left from the castings everywhere. The photo etch is also prety shabby BUT, i was warned about the kit, and a god tradesman never blames his tools! So It will still end up a bloody nice model Please excuse the crappy phone pics aha Everything is still just in the first few coats of paint so theres still allot to do, if there is interest ill keep you guys updated. Dan
  9. Man im lovin this, what kit is it though?
  10. Im actually keen to see how this turns out, i wanted to do a late 60s/early 70s muscle car in white for one of my next models but im abit worried at how it will turn out haha, you don't see too many Modellers doing white cars that's for sure. Keep the updates coming bro.
  11. Your pictures hurt my eyes haha, looks so sweet i want better oness!

    32 Ford Hiboy

Cheers mate, i realized i should have only after the final coat had dried haha, too eager to get into it i think. And thanks heaps for that tip concerning the door gaps, to the naked eye the pencil work looks awesome, really topped it off i reckon.
  13. This thread needs some Aussie flavour I absolutely love these motors! Hemi 265, 302hp 6 cylinder in a production car? Yes please! And I love these, Holden 304. I don't love them because there awesome motors, because there not haha, but there just sick. I'm building one atm for the car in my dp. Mine looks nothing like this though haha, this one has all the fruit, as you can see.

  15. I haven't seen it but you just reminded me of Two Lane Blacktop, a movie about almost nothing, but man that was a tuff Chevy! Where do you even find these old movies anymore lol?

  20. That "black wash" stuff you guys use for doing the black in the door gaps ect, what exactly is it? Brand, name, just a water based paint or?
