Then here is the simple response " Because thats the way "I" wanted "MY" kit painted" that should have been evident ? and you don't start a simple question with "Ill buy the fact you painted the bumpers white" like your expecting a explaination....

Well harry I was building the kit for me not for you...not a very pleasant comment from a administrator? sorry you don't like the color combo... and for those who are interested the kit is common on ebay it's 1/24 scale plastic by GUNZE SANGYO other than that IDK it's in that funny squigly writing...

After taking a break from kit building for a few weeks I finished this 1956 VW... and was reminded why I need the break... this little kit gave me a good share of problems but...that is what i love most about the hobby...

After the removal of the roof line and ground effects.... oo yeah and i shortend the fenders.... this is my first real modification of this type so bear with me... -
About a week ago i started a forum about "Why did i buy this" well i found out why... The frame and body are warped... but with some cutting and some modifications this P.O.S. Explorer might make one heck of a BAJA contender.... I decided to remove the back half of the roof line from the rear seat wimdows to the gate... as well as the oem ground effects... then rase the fenders for wheel clearance....

I am not really a dump truck fan so much as an IH fan.. so give me some direction on ways to go or what you like? How about a wrecker or flatbed car hauler... or post apocalypse road monster.....i have so many things i want to do i cant focus on one....

Questions About A Paystar 5000?
modelmike replied to modelmike's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
thank you guys this kit is going to be fun with no instructions... -
Ok i purchased a 1/24 AMT IH Paystar 5000 and i want this to be my most detailed build yet, and not to mention it will be my first big rig ever. so as iam researching this model of dump truck and cross referencing the parts in the kit iam un clear about the engine in this kit it doesnt look like a N-14 or M-11 Cummins.... or a 3406, 3406E CAT? does anyone know if this is a mistake in the kit or there other power plants for this rig???
