  1. Hi lads and thanks for the welcome. Boreham, did you make the meeting last Sat? Good to see you here.. I need to make a replica of a particular car, have plenty of reference photos but it is a stock V6 convertible, identical to the one in the link save for tan interior rather than black. So I need the stock wheels and the front bumper, (dunno about the rear one) instead of the GT one in both kits (snap & regular). Looks like I'll have to scratch both. The Shelby bumper is closer but still not right. I've spotted that they've released the 2010 Shelby now as well, so maybe I'll try to get hold of one of them for the bumper, and do a hatchet job on it. Resin would be great (I've used it loads of times on aircraft and ship kits) if it was available. Anyway, thanks for the help. I've so far got the following in the 1/25/24 parking garage... AMT 66 Mustang hardtop. AMT 67 Mustang GT (nice kit) AMT 77 Trans Am Revell Mercedes 540K Italeri Ferrari F40. Revell Audi R8. on the assembly line; Revell Mustangs; 64 convertible, 65 GT350R, 65 GT350H, 70 Boss 429, 2006 GT, 2006 GT500, 2010GT. AMT Mustangs; 68 Shelby GT500, 69 Mach 1. In the boxes/in the post; Lindberg 1963 Mustang concept, Revell Snap 2010 Mustang Convertible; Ford Escort Rally, 70 Pontiac Firebird. Guess I like Mustangs....
  2. Hi all, I'm an allsorts of modeller, currently have a 1/144 shuttle, 3 1/72 aircraft, a 1/700 aircraft carrier and a bunch of 1/25 Mustangs on the go. Some of you might know me from ARC, Britmodeller or IPMS Ireland. Anyway, a quick question, is it possible to make or get a V6 conversion for the Revell 1/25 2010 Mustang GT? I'm not too worried about the engine bay but is there any conversion available for the front bumper/grille and wheels? Any other notable differences? I'm trying to build this car.. http://www.everycarl...vbp8en3a5172189 I have a couple of the Revell snap convetibles on the way and a pair of the regular 2010 hardtop kits and will mix'n'match to get a detailed convertible. Is there any source of the wheels on a diecast for example? (apologies if this is in the wrong place, admins please move if so.) TIA, Roy
