  1. Sweet sled. Looking great so far.
  2. I've been back into building for about a year. I got in a serious ski accident and was immobile for months. Building scale cars again kept me sane as I could not walk or go to work. After finding this site I was introduced to a whole subculture that I never knew existed, but was instantly familiar with. Since then I've dived head first into model building and never looked back. Its because of the site and the mag. I've been a subscriber for 6 months now and have been buying back issues like a mad man to develop a library. I've got about six years of issues and probably spend more time pouring over the awesome builds, great how tos, and everything else in the mag than I do at the bench! The forum is a great compliment to the mag and is a go-to page that I visit everyday. It's a big part of my life, and I admire what you have done Gregg. You are an inspiration and I draw on what you have done and try to apply it to my daily life. As was said before, dont let a few clueless slobs ruin your day. For every hater, there's at least 10,000 dudes in your corner!!
  3. The driveway pic is most excellent. The banger and detailing overall is great, this would be WAY cool as a 1:1...
  4. Thats some of the most convincing weathering I've ever seen.
  5. Great build! Good luck with the progress..
  6. Cool build. Id love to build this, but current prices when one pops up is way out of my league.... Great job with it!
  7. Wow, what a sled. Who says kustoms dont have any go? Dig it!

Very nice build. Great body mods and sitting just right.
  9. Looks good from here. Im suddenly craving a Sprite.
  10. I liked the build up, and the like the finished product even more. Tasty custom!
  11. Thats a tough looking small block! Makes me wish model engines made noise, Im sure this would sound wicked.
  12. This thing is sick. I like the stance, and white interior. Great engine detail, its almost a shame to cover it with the big dual quad air cleaner. Still way cool regardless.
  13. Offend? Are you kidding? You level of detail and execution is beyond approach.
  14. Wow! Not my era of ride, but what a clean build with pictures to match.
  15. Looks awesome. I really want to man up and do a resin piece, this is a great example.
  16. I'm glad I'm not the only one who deals with missing parts that seem to grow feet and hide in plain sight. I think prepping for paint is very tedious. I have to break up my sanding sessions or I start to rush and not enjoy myself. Model car building is definitely a hobby of attrition in every sense of the word. The end result is always worth it though.
  17. Your a nut Ira, in the best possible sense. You don't think outside the box, you vaporize the box...Looking forward to this!
  18. Love the build, but your workbench is downright hypnotic! Cool!
  19. Those are a some beasties! Tons of great old drag cars on the site lately. Digging on them.
