  1. please keep in mind this is my 3rd model as an adult modeler, This is my first time using the 1/24 seatbelt set, took me a few goes but i figured it out, I used a reference photo, so I am hoping it looks ok, I am a bit sad that all my hard work on the dash and race seat are pretty much hidden with the little windows on this race car, but I guess its ok because I know the work I have put into this build! seat race seat area radiators looks beautiful lights, windscreen, dash, race seat are in and a lil teaser as to how close I am to finnishing, just have to do the rear wing brakets and a few extra bits to add and paint to make it looks better
  2. I was waiting for this build~!
  3. final update on the body, all masking and decaling is done!
  4. look a lil skewwif?, did you push the window down?
  5. been away with a few of life's urgent matters, Just a small update, I Have started to decal the body, the decaling on this model is extreme but fun! as you can see the car starts to take shape!, I have also purchased a few extras, I have some 1/24 seat belts, 1/24 radio antenna and some 1/24 bonnet pins, there is a space on the bonnet for the pins but non are provided with the kit,
  6. I hate masking... I have decided to ditch the decals and spray the green/ black patterns, easier said than done! the hardest part was making sure I have every curve and line at the correct angle and to make sure it was symmetrical. masking out the green I missed the two little air intakes on the rear of the car and I ended up with over spray In front of the windscreen there is a black diamond, In order to use the decal and to make sure it lined up with the green diamond i cut down the decal and applied it onto the car as shown below. I then masked of the rest of the car to be painted black so I could match up the decal with the paint I applied a small clear screen (stiff plastic) over the smaller pattern on the decal, then the rest of the car was sprayed black! fixing the over spray issue the new rear panel the end result!! now I just need to let this body sit and for the paint to harden, there is still the two green panels to be resprayed as there is some orange/black over spray on these two parts. decaling will start soon as well as the masking and spraying of the rear skirts.. I really want to take my time and redo things I am not happy with,
  7. I used tamiya spray TS-31 BRIGHT ORANGE TS-35 PARK GREEN 3 light coats of fine surface primer and 3 coats of bright orange,
  8. undertray done in matt black side-panel, rear panel rear wing and mirrors painted
  9. not much of an update, so far I have finnished painting the body, sideskirts, and undertray, the windows and the dash these are the windows, masked, sprayed in matt black and the end result this is the body sanded, sprayed in primer then sand, spray, repeat!
  10. looks nice with both nissans together
  11. yeah it was out-showed by the 787 but the 767's were more succsefull not just at lemans but even the JSPC and daytona 24hrs. Still I wanna build both
  12. Dash is also done, took me awhile to get all the detail correct from photos, it was hard to find photos of the 767b cockpit, I am happy with the result let me know what you guys think. without decal with decal all together
  13. wheels got a scrubbing with 180 sandpaper to make them look more like race slick's. brakes got slight weathering with silver then dark grey lightly brushed over. the tire transfers proved to be tricky but they all turned out fine! I am extremely happy with the wheels! scrubbed vs non- scrubbed front vs rear wheel
