I KNOW STYRENE IS CHEAP BUT
Gothic Kustomz replied to CrazyGirl's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
Wonder if I could do the same with a dremel, I have more then a big box of sprues, great idea, I'm on it... -
Hi Doobie, well right now there re 6 of us involved, every one has till the 7th to enter there chance to win, so in answer it all depends on how many people enter, right now 6, so you would win all 6, well actually 5, wouldn't count yourself, and we're hoping there will be a 23 member panel to vote, but you know how that goes, no voting on your own build, no quiting, once your in, your in, if your not done, oh well, no changing your build, and no whinning, and or crying if you lose, we have everything, from Snap fast, to nascar, to rebuilders, to new kits, such as mine, I didnt like the grill so I entered the '60, tho I am the only one who has entered a new kit, goes with the territory I guess, no one wants to lose a good kit, to me it's just plastic, and they will make more......
-
Just a Lil fun, let it begin: losing some chrome.
-
Just like it say's, Title for Title, this is a build off I'm involved in right now, winner gets to take all losers builds, no aftermarket add on's, scratch building, and kit bashing, a plus, everything, all years, makes, an models, from stock, out of the box, to mild, an wild kustomz, yes an A game build off, so I just thought I would show what I'm bringing to the table, needs to be done in 30 days.

I have both the '64 caddy, and the ambulance, which will be hitting the bench here really soon.
-
Thanx for that info, Like I said I have no clue, I didnt kno Jo-Han did a promo too, it was like the firstpic, when I got it, and no inerior, but! I got one that will fit it, kewl info tho. Nah I wont be doing the interior stock, just some mild kustom stuff tho, like working the dash into a kustom center console. might go with 4 buckets, front swivels, I dont have the chrome pieces for the grill, sooooooo, we're gonna see what my lil mind can come up with, to fix tha issue, just might make my own from pictures I have, even going to play with the frame, I got alot of them, I know I can get something going there. Thanx guys, build on.....
-
Nah wasnt diecast, it's plastic all right, I think it was a Hasegawa, '66 Coupe De Ville, that's about the best I can do for ya 1/25, I do believe, you prolly get some good stuff offa google, have fun and good luck....
-
Yea do to the fact, I have so many going, I'm now gonna keep them all to one thread, as before good/bad feed back is always welcome, rivet counters are not allowed, I just build to piss you off, a building bonus hahahahaha '66 The Forsaken Well we're gonna start this off, this Lil sweetheart, a promo 1966 Kaddy: she had to take a bath for about a week, Now time to open her up, ooops. It has begun, the front, rear pans, mounted, now ready for blending, an yea I opened the hood, thinking about the doors now:
-
To many pictures, what fun: Oh, what a mess, but some progress none the less, now I'm stuck planing for the front, Side note: There just seems to be something missing here, there's just to much empty space from the taillights to the bottom of the pan, to vast I just can't put my fingers on it, heck it will come to me. Now as I ponder the rear of The Saint, need to get to work on The Sinner, get it up to speed, so till next time, Later.......
-
Here is The Saint: A 1966 Bonneville promo, ooops, that fell in short order, Here Is The Sinner: A 1965 Pontiac not really a 2+2, was gonna use a '66 promo Caddy, but, I got better plans for that. As I have just got the The Sinner, an will be doing some work on her real soon, I did bide my time with working on The Saint, here are some shots, The pain begins, first off a Lil, smoothing, still have to take the badge off the rear and the hood, went thru and filled in the sink marks, wow, still have work to do, LOL, Can you say OMG!!!, LOL or is that just to low, hehehehehehehe, gotta do some kustom body stuff, then back into primer, then paint, now I just gotta figure a Saintly kolor.....
-
Not much of an update, kinda draggin, now I need to find some half round rod, kinda wanna match the interior to the cover:
-
I need another build, ummmmm yea I do, the plan's for this are as fallows, but not in this order. 1. transform it into a 2 seat roadster: 2. 421 CI, High rise intake, dual 1250 CFM carbz' plumb'd, scratch built dizzy, and maybe scratch built headers, if I can find the 2mm solid core solder: 3. slam'd with a mild rake, for attitude, on chrome T's: 4. kustom rear roll'd pan, with molded front bumper in kolor, smoothed: 5. nice cowl hood scoop, and fill'd in cowl: 6. Paint will be finger nail polish Ameythst: Can you say OH YEA TOPLESS ? and smooth, now time for some clean up.

You can also go to TCP global . com, or on ebay, I found a potable one on ebay for 49.99, with free shipping, it really all comes down to, what your looking for, like I said, I built mine for 30.00, and gas, to get to town, and 2 hours of time, or like its stated on here, before this got hijacked, you can go all out and spend ooodles of $, none the less, wish you the best on what you decide, and remember have fun, build on.
-
I built mine for like 30.bux, most the stuff I got at the hardware store, (home Improvement), yeah it vents right outside, there are some youtube how to's on this, but here is what mine looks like, works great for me, took me all of about to hours to put together, OH1 yea theres a 50 CFM vent behind the blue filter, I dont think it's enough, but when you turn that puppy on, you fight like hell to get it open, and please man stay away from the shop Vac, version, it will go POOF!...

Very nice, sharp, an clean, great job...

Nightmare Kits CBP - aka Masochistic Modelers Anonymous
Gothic Kustomz replied to Jantrix's topic in Community Builds
OK, am I too late for this? hope not, I'm gonna attempt 2 at the same time, which I like to call The Saint, & The Sinner, both are Hasegawa promo's, bothe are '66s one is the Pontiac Bonneville, the other a Cadillac De Ville, here some shots: Now in my Lil mind, I'm gonna attempt to take both of these and turn them in detail kits, rather then curbside. Here is where we have started: Here we are at right now, as I cut out the hood to The Saint, smooth'd and removing the hood: -
I use the Ambroid pro weld myself, then using a V file I file the seam, then add plastic using the Ambroid, works great, this is kewl tho,
