  1. Awesome looking Roadrunner great work.
  2. Thanks michael. I cut the springs off the rear axle and cut it to the right length. The rear A arms fit right over the rear axle. The Mustang rear axle was very easy to put in.
  3. This is my entry, it is a 1991 Mercury Cougar XR7. I used parts from a 2010 Shelby GT500 Mustang the engine is a 5.4 liter with 540HP. It has the Mustang rear axle, drive shaft and radiator. The air cleaner was modified to make it fit.
  4. Awesome build great work nicely done.

  8. All of the builds look great nice work everyone. My Cougar is 99% done Waiting for glue to dry sucks.
  9. The Cougar is all most done i wired the engine and got it in and the frame is built.
  10. Update for the Cougar i got the black on the windshield the rear windshield was fun to glue in i also got the interior built i cut the mustang driveshaft and made it longer to make it fit.
  11. Update for the Cougar i painted the trim added some rust and took a flat tip screwdriver bit and scratched the clear coat where it wrinkled to try to make it look like the clear coat is flaking off i painted the interior and cut off the over hang on the windshield.
  12. Thanks for the suggestion Rob. I forgot to mention the work i did to it was done a few months ago i have done more work to it since then i will post more pics. I think i have come up with a way to get rid of the wrinkles and i agree Rustoleum is garbage Duplicolor is definitely better paint my biggest complaint with Duplicolor is that they don't have a lot of colors to choose from. Testors has a better color choice but $5.00 to over $6.00 is to much for a 3oz can of paint.
  13. At least it happened to build that i am going to make it look like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH
  14. Update for the Cougar i got it sprayed and clear coated i used Rust-oleum red and clear the clear ended up wrinkling the paint did the same thing on the hood i also got the mustang differential in. And the engine is all most ready.
