    55 CHEVY

Great looking builds all three. Corey
  7. Thanks Bruce. Yeah it is always cool to see somebody do a build that one is so intimate with. I used to drive this car ALOT, so it was a real trip back in time building it. Corey
  8. Thanks Brandon. I've wanted to do these wheels for a while now, and I'm glad I saved them for this build. Corey
  9. Brandon. If it were me I would get the primer as smooth as possible before I sprayed the undercoat. Then if after the undercoat's dry, if it's not gonna be smooth enough, I'd wetsand it with like a 2000 or 2500 grit paper and hit it again with basecoat. Then it should be ready to go for the color. Corey
  10. Thanks John!!! That means the world to me coming from a guy with your skills. Corey
  11. You should build a rat rod from the bad body, lol! I think it'd be cool. Corey
  12. Looks killer man. GREAT subject matter. Corey
  13. Too bad on the other body Jake. I don't know about that kit, never seen it before. Let us know. Good progress so far man. Just hang in there, it'll all work out. Corey
  14. Thanks Skip. I usually use white card stock paper, but don't have any right now. But yeah, I totally agree. It makes a world of difference in the pics. Corey
  15. Thanks again Niko. Can't hardly believe I've got TWO of them huh? LOL. His looked EXACTLY like this. Had to tone down the chrome a bit to get it right. Yeah man this was a really hard one for me. I built this one in tribute RIGHT after he passed. Had a really hard time getting through it. Spent ALOT of time with him in and around ths car. Wanted to build it for him forever, and just never got to it. His wife and kids have it now, but am going to do another for me. Corey
  16. Welcome Byron, and great start. Can't wait to see more. Corey
  17. Thanks Niko, and Darbo. Yeah Niko, you don't see too many come off of my bench. And most people do build em as pro touring machines, I DO have one more Chevy in my collection. I built it as a tribute to one of my best friends after he passed away. It is almost a replica of his 1:1. Thanks again guys. Corey
  18. Again, awesome work Niko. It looks like the real thing. Corey
  19. Great looking model man. Good job. Corey
  20. Here are a few pics of the build I did of my Grandpa's 1:1 El Camino. There are a few things here that aren't factory, like the white inner fenders. But, it's pretty close. Ths is and was at the time a pretty big break fom the norm for me, as I uually don't build stock class cars, or Chevies. Thanks for looking. Corey
  21. Great start. Cant wait to see more. Corey
  22. Lookin good Dave. Corey
