  1. That would be cool. I'll think on it. Also thinking some slotted mags like the ones on my Superbird, but don't know. Corey
  2. John... You are definitely a master of your craft. Corey
  3. Yeah It's definitely gonna get dropped some in the front, just in the mock up stages right now, nothing set as far as suspension or ride height yet. Corey
  4. Awesome Nova man. Great attention to detail. Corey
  5. Any suggestions on wheels would be great. Have several ideas, but can't quite decide. Thinking Torq Thrusts, or Centerlines. But am open to other ideas also. Corey
  6. Here are a few pics of the 9 yr old wip I have going. Need to round up a few small things, and do a ton of work and it'll be done. One day soon. Thanks for looking. Corey
  7. I think Tubbs just hit it on the head. I love it when people give me constructive criticism on my builds. I suck it up, and soak it up for all it's worth. I can't count the number of times someone has seen one of my builds, and pointed out some little thing that I wouldn't have even thought of. And it's alot of times the little things that make a huge difference. So with me, criticize away; I welcome it. That said, nobody should get on here and be negative in any way towards another builder or build no matter the skill level. We are all on here to enjoy viewing other people's builds and learn from other peoples idea's and interpretations, and hopefully we can bring some enjoyment to others by displaying our builds. Am I right? Corey
  8. Awesome bodywork man. Corey
  9. Thanks Brett. I was looking at some of your builds last night, and man, you do some killer work also. Really like the Funnies that you build. Also very exellent work. Corey
  10. I just try to make myself happy. Which is hard to do sometimes. I try and acheive the most realistic results I can possibly do every time. That doesn't always mean that's what the results are. I believe Clay Kemp once said, and please don't hate me if I'm wrong about who said this, but I think it was Clay; try and look at every piece of the model as a model in itself. And make evey part look as good as you can and your level of detail will just get better and better. I think this is probably the most sound advice I've heard. Do this, and in time; you'll be happy with the results. Unless you're building it for somebody else, just build it the way YOU would want it. And don't listen to Junkpile, he lives in Kansas! LOL, just kiddn! I live in Kansas too. Corey
  11. It's different, but very cool! I like it. Cool use of the carbon fiber. Good job. Corey
  12. Thanks Bob. I've wanted to build something for my Uncle Danny forever, and finally found all the right stuff in 09. Now I'm getting ready to build him a Pro Street version of his 1:1 Marina Blue 67 GTO 428 4spd. SUPER RARE, only year available as an option for that engine. Ought to be a good one. Corey
  13. I believe anyone at any skill level has something they can teach you. Everyone has a "special" way they do something; anything. And that something can be just the one way you never thought of looking at it. Corey
  14. Great job Roger. My first kit, ableit unfinished, was the Sox and Martin 71 Cuda when I was about 9 years old. Thi was before I knew anything about Mopar. I ust thought it looked like the meanest car there. Still one of my all time favorites. Your's looks spot on. Corey
  15. Would have loved to make it, but got stuck working this weekend. Oh well maybe next year. Congrats Zaina, that's awesome buddy. That's 2 in a row for shows in Salina this year, the hard work is paying off. Maybe next year I'll get to make it. The funny thing is I just moved back here from Salina on April, 1st. I've lived in Salina since 2007, and never knew anything about the model car shows there until after I moved. What a bummer. Maybe next year. Corey
  16. Good job on the 66. Looks great. Corey
  17. Great looking Bird. Good job. Corey
  18. Thanks Darbo, Cheers mate! Corey
  19. This build was done using a heavily modified 55 Chev Pro Sportsman chassis. About 75 percent of the cage is scratchbuilt, and ties into the front tube frame; which is made from K&S aluminum tubing. The front wheels are narrowed, and the rears are widened. The engine is mostly Pro Sportsman kit, with some pieces from the parts box. Corey
  20. Looks pretty mean already. Cant wait to see more. Corey
