Greetings and happy fall to all,,hey that ryhmes. So I got this AMT kit at walmart last x-mas,,finally getting round to it. I wanted something different than just the Elky by its self. So I gave it a haircut,,and made it california car. Sprayed with Tamiya blue rattlecan,,same with the underside,,with handpainted details,,added some basic wiring ect. Scatch built roll bar,,,trimmed fender openings,,Scratch built headrests,,trimmed kit supplied radiator support ,,, Now all I need to do is have Chip Foose build me one for a million $$$. We can only dream now cant we? Cheers. S

Happy summer all,,just goin thru some kits in storage,,and found this. Sprayed w/Testors qukdry enamel,,and did some added x-tras. Great kit,,went together very well,,and I dig this body style EC. Now all I need is the 1:1 car,,,enjoy your builds!

Happy building all,,now that everybody,,or most of us have to stay in,,I think model building is a great "social distancing" tool,,just too bad all or most clubs shows + swap meets have to cancel,,bummer:( Oh well,,hopefully all this madness will blow over soon. Anyways,,heres a version of AMT's 59' Elcamino,,I used testors quikdry rattlecan,,and testors bottle hand paint the rest. Ive always liked 2 tone paint work,,and this kits lends itself quite well for that. I changed the top end of 409 mtr,,changed the rims+ tires,,and a bit of wiring,,not a contest car,,just a social distancing tool! LOL

Hi everybody, i didn’t published here for long time ago, but when i see all positive comment on my two other post I will say then I have to show my work here ! I just begin to work on this Elky , I like the new goodies in that edition , soap box, decals and new Torque Thursh wheels and red line tire ! My work began by assembly the rear bed, seats, and the big block Chevy 396 ! I choose to use the Torque Trush wheels with redlined tires! Due to that I removed the white lettering from the yires other side !
