Scale I Build

Found 5 results

  1. Pretty much the same kit as the Sheriff Roscoe's Police Car (MPC 707) reissued a few year ago, this time with new box art and a resin Joker figure. "Stock Dodge Monaco" might be a bit of a stretch with the super-deep steel wheels and matching tires, though...
  2. Started with a MPC promo from eBay, I added the vinyl top, side trim, transparent signal lights with acrylic sheet and some chrome details. Also casted the side mirrors from a 1/24 Greenlight Monaco cop car diecast. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  3. (Delete if not appropriate) Please no tirekickers. How many would be interested and for sure purchase a trans-kit of the 77 Monaco/Crestwood? It would come with body, rear bumper, tailights and tub/tub extension. Not sure yet if there should be trim for the wood,or leave that up to the builder. This would be mastered and produced by a professional who today produce very high quality aftermarket products,so it will not be anything as the resin blob offered on eBay. The price range my guess will be in the range $45-$60. You will have to supply donor-kit and extra glass. For now just checking interest. If the response is good i`ll get back with more details. Tommy
  4. I remember the 1:1 of this car from the early 90's when the police department would use it as a display car at parades and various events around town. The technology at the time was advanced and I remember the doors would open automatically to full extention as well as the hood. The car also "talked" and would say phrases like "say no to drugs" stuff like that. Currently the car is in a museum, found it recently and decided to make a replica. I built it as curbside, shaved the door handles and made the decals myself. Thanks to jtalmadge for the wheels that I think match the 1:1 perfectly.
  5. Another rusty build! Both this and my K4 Blazer were previosly built, but I didn't have time to do a full resto of this one. The numbers were from a Snake and Mongoose funny car, and the POW decal was from a Monogram Ford Super Duty. Thoughts?
