Here is my 2002 Bill Elliott Dodge Intrepid with special Dodge Viper SRT-10 decals. I chose the Viper paint scheme because there were so few differences between Bill Elliott's 2001, 2002, and 2003 cars. I started with the Revell 2001 Intrepid (Bill Elliott) kit. I built it box stock because I knew the main challenge on this one would be the decals. They are made by JWTBM, and both the decals and the instructions were excellent. The decals were numbered, and I simply applied them in order. It took a good deal of micro sol and micro set to get the bigger decals to lay down over the contours and wrap around the body edges. There were only a few decal tears. The base paint was "Dodge Red" (Duplicolor) but the decals had a much lighter shade, so when there was a gap with the base paint showing I had to mix up touch up paint to match the decals. This will look good on the shelf between his 2001 Dodge Intrepid and the model of his last win 2003 Intrepid. Before I launch into that project though I am going to finish off the Budweiser era with the 1993 Bud Thunderbird (almost identical to the 1992 and 1994 cars). Then I will do the 2003 last win car and wrap it all up with the 1985 car. Thanks for looking!

First one done for this year. This went a little better then the Cuda even if i made many mistakes and arent too happy about it. What is done is i bashed a AMT Viper coupe for suspension, engine, transmission, brake booster and engine managment. The rear back up lights was made out of clear parts three, inspired by two other builders on this forum. The plenum and intake is from Revell (Thank you evilbay lol). The steelies are from a member on here, dont remember hes name but has ebay store. The dog dish are from Missing Link and are great. Paint is tamiya, dip stick is home made, alternator wire is just wire lol. Heater hoses are wire isolation, radiator hose is scale production, the hose clamps are Top Studio. Exhaust is modified Cuda AAR. I regret having some blackwash on the engine, because now it looks dirty. Also the rear window is a joke. Anyway, thanks all for the tip and suggestions in the WIP. Here are some pics. Thanks for watching, and if you like it or hate it,let me know.

This is the 67 GTX that I've been rebuilding (w.i.p here) http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=76068 It's my second entry in this years cannonball run cbp. The only thing original is the body itself everything else is either from a Viper or scratch built. It features Viper engine and suspension, a little nos should it be needed and a custom fuel cell for longer range. The paint is Chrysler Inferno Red and universial black. To everyone who watched and commented while this was being made, thank you for all your kind words.

This is the rebuild of my oldest surviving model kit and is my second entry to the Cannonball Run cpb. I built it when I was 12 or 13 so it's about 10 years old. My plans for it this time around are to build it up like something from the Fast and Furious movies. It will have the suspension and power plant from a Viper thus the snake part of the name. Bare bones interior, roll cage, something made for performance, haven't decided on a color yet I got a few ideas but just can't decide. Here's what I'm starting with. And now. . . wait for it . . . It's BATH TIME!!! . . . . *looks around* Alright come out from behind the couch everyone, I'm talking about the car not you guys. And after 2 odd days it's half done. And after 2 more days the blue is off, I'm going to try to take the grey off but for now I think I'll used it for sanding. There's a few aspects of the car I want to change. And that will kick off this build, thanks for looking.
