Actually Bill, they're pretty close to where they should be. Remember, there is an "offset" between length of the inside door panel, & the door itself. Any further forward & it would have been in the middle of the door. I've learned to check these ahead of time before I drill the holes. :)

Ok cool. , just looked like there was a seam in the sides of the interior tub and the knobs were behind that .

Sure looks good though

Isn't that what coral is? :) This is the same color I used on my '59 Dodge. The darker of the 2 colors is the "Coral". The lighter color is called "Rose Quartz" Now that's pink!! :D

Yeah, with these old annuals, I usually try not to pay much attention to things like that on the interiors. Something tells me with the lack of detail in them, accuracy was probably not high on the list either. :)

Steve

This is great detail. Love your work.

Thanks John!!

Gtx697 is right.. The knobs are too far back. They are clearly above the window crank pivot shaft for the REAR window. And well back from the line designed to symbolize the separation of the door card and the back card.

Take a look at the "Under Glass" photos & tell me what you think. I placed them according to the way they look from the exterior.
