I needed to do a paint test to see if I could avoid some ghosting issues I experienced previously, so I pulled out a 1/32 scale '55 Chevy Snap Kit I had in the stash to paint the body and see how it went. It came out great, so I decided to just build the whole car this week. Doing that I was able to get some foiling practice and Alclad practice too!

Love the color. I just received some Tamiya's Pink Primer. I also have a pink pearl paint. Just looking for the right kit to use. Again, I think you did a fabulous job. Really love the 55's. The back bumper may be upside down, but you know, it is a nice twist.

Haha, well it just might be upside down. I tried it the other way and it didn't seem to fit, so I turned it around. But it's a snap kit, so I can easily turn it around if that's the case! Thanks for looking, guys.

What's your definition of a 'quick build,' Chris? Just one year?

That's what I get for doing it at 1:00 AM. All fixed! Am I in the club now?
