Miserable Soul Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Land down under? I got that from the upside down pics lol
Dominik Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 ...down under... just joking. dont know, why your pics are upsidedown...no idea. But your Volkswagen looking good! The same Colors i choose on mine - really nice
Zarana-X Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 (edited) Looks great. Very clean work. My only suggestions would be, the grab handles are rubber and should match the upholstery. and maybe finish the moulding on the bumpers and the body. like so: It looks like it would be a daunting task, though. IceMan Collections Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 This looks great! Nice job on it all. Aargh. My neck!!
DumpyDan Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 I didn't even have to look where you were from. Once I turn my lap top over, looks really good, nice work.
DeeCee Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Nice Kombi mate, a very tidy build, the pics look fine to me.
Foxer Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Really good looking build there! Do they call these Kombi's down there? Just curious because I learned to drive om my Dad's '56 Kombi which had the rear side windows filled. This is a 23 Window Samba version I always thought. Looking on the Net I guess every VW Type 2 gets called a Kombi at some point. Go figure ... This is what I call a Kombi ...
peekay Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 (Ah, that's better, I was getting a sore neck.) Excellent work, Graeme, looks really great!
Aussie_Modeler Posted March 26, 2015 Author Posted March 26, 2015 Thanks guys for all the positive comments Mike all VW Wagons are called Kombis down here. When i saw the model in the shop and saw it was called a "samba bus" i thought thats weird never knew they were called that lol There was one sold at auction here a few months back for $202,000 AU. Cant get over the money they go for now

Guest Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Well done! Wish I hadn't traded mine off. I had 2, Hasagawas and Revells full detail kit.
