250 Testa Rossa Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Came across this article regarding the Lamborghini Miura from The Italian Job. Glad to hear that the car is still around. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3005972/The-Italian-rescue-job-Iconic-Lamborghini-classic-film-46-years-no-mafia-DIDN-T-throw-cliff.html
chunkypeanutbutter Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 The one already wrecked belonged to some sultan or such who died in it...
Matt Bacon Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 (edited) Note that the Mail on Sunday absolutely fails to credit the origin of the story, an article in this month's Octane magazine. "The Mail on Sunday can reveal...?" Nope, the Mail on Sunday can steal... bestest, M. Edited March 27, 2015 by Matt Bacon

Tom Geiger Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I have no use for exotic cars... no interest at all in things like Ferrari's... but somehow I always loved the Miura. It could have been the movie, but I suspect it was the Matchbox car!
alan barton Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 For me it was definitely the Matchbox car, and then I saw a real one in lime greenyyellow and that sealed it! Cheers Alan

Cheers Alan In my case it was this one! I did the Testors modifications when I was 11. The roof became black because it got scratched, repaired by Testors Lumpy Black! And it's in my display case today, I wouldn't change a thing! Edited March 28, 2015 by Tom Geiger
