You must have gotten the "race" wheels instead of the "street" wheels. There are two versions. Keep up the good work

Yeah, I've just been distracted, and waiting to go to the LHS for some tubing to adapt the wheels to the spindles.

Hopefully, I'll be able to do that today while I'm sending a package out to Clayton.

So, for all you who may be wondering: I remember I have this going. All it really needs is to have stuff mounted up and to make the drop spindles.

Mount

- Windshield/ glass

- Seats

- Rear lights

- Front suspension with drop spindles

- Lights and blinkers

- Rest of engine components

However, this has taken a back-burner spot due to a few other projects I've willed to myself to finish. Once I finish those, I'll finish this.

For now, I'll lock the topic. Happy modelling, and I hope to be back updating this soon! B)

Alright, party people. I'm going to be back updating this one. Plans for the rear wheels are to deep-dish 'em to give a leveled effect versus the front wheels. I'll still have to scrounge around for the tubing to attach them to the spindles. However, the paint will get another clearcoat as it's quite orange-y. Afterwards, the headliner will get put in, along with the glass, and I'll make interior junk. If I can find a good carb, I'll put it on there.

Anyways, good to be back. Suggestions welcomed as I know a few people were following this with aplomb.

One thing I'd like an opinion on: tinted blinkers/taillights?

Thought I'd ask you guys a question: has anybody here ever made eyebrows for their Bug models? I like the way they look, and think I might make some.

Also, anybody who could help me with a set of front spindles, send me a PM. Planning on doing a spindle drop, and don't want to do it with my only set.

I've done that! I used artificial nails (women-stuff LOL!!!) The smallest ones had the exact shape. I just had to cut them down a litle to achieve the correct look!
